What's new in Budgetly 2.1.56

Home Screen Widget Upgrade
The iOS widget now shows a live budget progress bar — color-coded green, orange, or red as you spend. The medium size also shows how much budget remains and the percentage used. Both widget sizes are more compact so they fit naturally on your home screen.

Default Category Setting
Choose your default expense category in Settings > Account Rules. It pre-selects every time you add a new transaction — no more tapping the same category every time. Defaults to Grocery automatically.

Household Restore Preferences
Reinstalling and recovering your household? A setup sheet now appears first so you can confirm your Budget Cycle, Allow Negative Balance, Default Account, and Default Category before data is pulled from Google Drive.
