## What is Budgetpad.?

BudgetPad is a simple, beautiful way to stay on top of your money — designed to feel like a friendly paper notepad.

BUDGETS & EXPENSES
• Set monthly budgets by category and watch what's left at a glance
• Log expenses in seconds, with cash/credit tracking and notes
• See your spending history grouped by day
• Export your data to CSV anytime

SPLIT THE BILL
• Split a bill among family or friends in seconds
• Add each person and punch in their amounts one by one
• Add an optional service fee that's split evenly
• Track who still owes you with the "To collect" panel, and settle up per person

BILLS
• Keep track of recurring bills monthly, weekly ,annually
• Remind user to pay bill on the day, 1 day before, 3 days before, 1 week before due date.

LOANS
• Keep track of money you've lent or borrowed
• Record partial payments and mark loans as settled

USE IT YOUR WAY
• No account needed — tap "Continue offline" and your data stays on your device
• Or sign in with email, Google, or Apple to sync across your devices
• Choose your currency, accent color, and light or dark mode

Your data is yours. You can permanently delete your account and all your data from within the app at any time.

BudgetPad doesn't show ads or track you across other apps.

Bills & Notifications:

Tapping a bill notification opens the app straight to the Bills screen
Lead-time reminders (Same day / 1 day / 3 days / 1 week before) now fire twice a day (9am + 6pm)
Daily 9am nag for bills that are overdue and unpaid, until marked paid
"Pay in advance?" confirmation when tapping "Mark paid" on a bill that isn't due yet
Clear feedback when a reminder fails to schedule (notifications off, or due date too close)

Budget / Expense flow:
Past months are editable again (previously locked to view-only)
Budgets tab "+" moved inline next to "Copy {month}", floating button removed
"+ Add Expense" with zero budgets now flashes "Create a budget first" instead of a dead-end sheet
Fixed a UI freeze bug found while building that fix (two modals open simultaneously)
Fixed BudgetSheet being mounted twice (overlapping modals)

Dark mode / privacy:
Dark mode now persists across app restarts (previously always reset)
Fixed sign-in/sign-out wiping device preferences (hide-balances, dark mode) it shouldn't touch
Fixed the "All" filter chip on Savings being nearly invisible in dark mode

Savings:
New category filter (All / Bank / E-wallet / Cash / Invested / Crypto) with per-category totals
Validation / error messages

Audited every Save button app-wide; fixed two that silently did nothing on invalid input
Fixed validation toasts being invisible behind open sheets/prompts

Cosmetic:
New splash screen matching the new app icon

• Deleting anything now asks you to confirm first
