## What is Bug Off!?

Bug Off! turns your iPhone into a mosquito-buzz machine, starring the nastiest cartoon mosquito you've ever met.

Tap the big power button and Bug Off! plays wingbeat-style tones from 300 to 700 Hz, while the mosquito on screen gets blasted backwards: shaking, sweating and gasping. Switch it off and it's back, with bloodshot eyes, fangs and a dripping proboscis.

TWO WAYS TO BUZZ
• Swarm: a drifting chorus of detuned voices that sounds like a real cloud of mosquitoes
• Manual: one steady tone, set to the exact hertz

TUNE IT
• Female and male wingbeat zones on the slider. Tap one to snap to it
• Sine, Square, Triangle and Sawtooth waveforms
• Live frequency readout and waveform visualizer
• Keeps playing in the background and alongside your music

NO NONSENSE
Free. No ads, no accounts, no tracking. Nothing leaves your phone.

LIGHT THE TIKI TORCH
• A flickering cartoon flame on a true-black screen, made for a dark patio or bedroom
• Seven flame colours, from classic orange to copper green and potassium lilac, or let Auto drift through them all
• Brightness slider that never goes above your screen's normal maximum, and gives your own brightness back when you leave
• Lights-out mode hides the controls, and a sleep timer turns the torch off for you

PLUS: REAL PESTS
Meet the mosquito's cousins, the Robo-Roach and the Snoop Tick, and the apps that deal with pests that are definitely real.

Bug Off! is for fun. It isn't a medical device and doesn't promise to keep mosquitoes away. For real protection, use a proven repellent (DEET or picaridin) and nets.
