**Developer response:** Port is used together with IP address to establish connection from Bugjaeger to your target device.

### 2/5 — Extremely limited “try before you buy.” After around 5 clicks it requires signing up monthly.

On downloading this “free” app it works for approximately 5 actions and then becomes as much use as a chocolate teapot. This means it took me the best part of 15 minutes to set it up only to be rendered useless after 30 seconds in the absence of paying 3.99 monthly. The biggest waste of 15 minutes and 30 seconds of my life ever. I’d rather this be upfront and clear that this is not really a free app at all, it’s at best a limited “try before you buy,” but even then it’s extremely limited. Almost every other app I’ve ever downloaded offers at the very least a 3 day trial which allows a fair amount of usage, often there’s longer usage than this. To allow me to perform literally 5 button clicks over adb commands where I mistyped 3 of them, is frankly poor. I’ve not tried out anything beyond the adb function so I’ve no idea if any of that other stuff works and I can’t test it out without paying. Sooo I gleaned that it indeed allowed me to load up the sound settings and the WiFi settings over adb. Now it wants 3 99. I say no. Also, there’s no option for lifetime or one time purchase and this feels like a huge oversight. I’d pay for this app for lifetime no problem for 25 USD maybe higher, if I’d tried it for a reasonable period and seen it working (which I suspect it works well but can’t confirm). On the other hand I won’t sign up to yet another subscription.

**Developer response:** Only some functionality is limited by number of actions. This should be sufficient to see, if app can be useful to you. What's paid is clearly written in app description. This app doesn't contain ads, and subscription is the only way I finance app development. Note that this app is not suitable for narcissistic self-centered people that are looking for gullible developers that give them stuff for free.

**Developer response:** You really provided only minimal information, and the translation also doesn't make much sense. I can only suspect that you're talking about the mirroring functionality in Screencap. The services that don't work most likely use a secured screen with protected content. I can't do anything about that. It's a system restriction that I can't bypass.

Mais de 30 minutos mexendo e não entendi nada não passa nenhum tutorial, sem contar que o sol é inútil

**Developer response:** The instructions are shown on initial screen. But note that this is technical tool that does have some learning curve. So it's not for everybody. If you're not even able to understand the basic instructions, then this app is not for you. I'd suggest you try some other apps, like games or similar.

so I got a secondary phone which is an android and it has fastboot mode. But if Im trying to root it, I need fastboot shell. It has that for android but not iOS. Is there any other way to add it? Thank you.

**Developer response:** Currently that's not possible. Might be possible in the future, if fastboot WiFi connection becomes supported/widespread on regular devices. 
iOS platform doesn't offer a generic USB API that would allow me to implement fastboot protocol via USB connection.

(Edited for developer response) Listen. I know it’s fun to make money and all, but this entire app just makes everything a pain. Ads (for premium) blocking many important options, and most of the features are locked behind a paywall. I could literally use Android ADB without an app or I could use any other device, so I will simply use all the free alternatives until somebody updates this app.
You do realize this whole thing is making you pay for a simple 3-letter command you can type on any computer?

**Developer response:** There are NO ADS in any of my iOS apps. Are you a bot/troll account or just some frustrated competitor? 
Is this a review that you copied from google play because there it was blocked instantly? Makes no sense

I put in the IP of my fire stick and it doesn’t work at all….it asks for a port and code…doesn’t tell you where to get it….i used 5555 which is the default and it still doesn’t work…

It is convenient to use, but not good enough.

1. When trying to execute commands in subdirectories, I can't use `./`, and I always have to write the full path.

2. Can't enter multiple commands like `./start` and `./stop` into a text box and execute them all at once.

A shell prompt should support these features by default, shouldn't it?

**Developer response:** Don't completely understand your explanation. It looks like "cd" command for changing the current directory is not working for you. The other stuff makes no sense. What do you mean with multiple commands at once? Did you try to use "&&" between commands? I really don't see how a shell should support executing commands at once by "default".

Note that this is one of many features that Bugjaeger offers, and it's one of the least important ones, with minimal interest from users. Giving bad rating, instead of asking nicely via email that you want something additional, makes me think that this app is not for people like you. Maybe just try other apps.

**Developer response:** It's an absolutely unimportant typo that'll be fixed in upcoming updates. You could just report this to support email. Seems very superficial to give bad rating for such tiny thing. Did you actually use the app?

This is the only ADB remote I have found that works over external IP with decent response times. Could do with some UI improvements to make it more user friendly like atvTools, but that’s a small gripe as it serves its purpose very well. 👍

I don’t know why the reviews are bad but this app was really easy to use and I was able to sideload an app from my iPhone into my fossil smartwatch.
