However, since it switched to the in-app purchase model, the Bugsnax game on my Apple TV no longer works, and restoring my previous purchase fails, showing a message that no previous purchases were found. I have already reported this issue to Apple. Could the developer intervene quickly? YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. the concept: the concept is making a family friendly Psychological & Body horror game & they achieved this concept by adding things kids would like & things they wouldn’t like they have cute creatures made of food & wacky characters but yet there’s also Creepy undertones like the snaxsquatch or the snakolytes & ya know the whole People’s body’s get transformed situation. THE CHARACTERS: the charecters are beautifully made the bugsnax themselves are cute funny & wacky & the grumpuses are so complex in there personality’s & charecters & THAT is where bugsnax shines. They give there characters depth & backstory’s to make them relatable & struggles they overcome in there Arc. THE GAMEPLAY This game is just FUN in general I love feeding people & catching bugsnax though I will admit this is the one part where the game runs dry it gets boring & repetitive fast ounce you learned every strategy to catch snaks it can get BORING fast. But ignoring that all the tools are amazing the snaktrap is a great starter tool the sauce slinger is essential the buggy ball is cute & useful & just fun to use The lunch pad is very annoying for me to remember if it’s Lunch or launch but it’s one of the more underutilized tools outside of flying snaks which is a SHAME. Snak grappler is the most buggy tool in the game but I still enjoy it. & the trip shot THE HOLY TRIP SHOT it’s beautiful really WONDERFUL……….its the best tool in the game they even have 2 boss fights themed around it. THE LORE The lore is beautifully DARK for the vibe of this game this whole time you’ve thought bugsnax were just odd with weird side affects but you learn they are PARASITES & that grumpuses who fall into the undersnax get turned into THE QUEEN OF BUGSNAX! & Lizbert becoming the queen of bugsnax is a very unexpected twist No one would guess on there first play-through. The twist is amazing. Than there’s the snakolytes which are genius the grumpinati that isn’t the grumpinati the secret society documenting the island & the bugsnax the lore of Alligander jamfoot is nice mainly the whole He’s friend with cappucceetle thing. Then there’s the three queens One wrathful one benevolent than there’s……..uhhhhh current events. THE ISLE OF BIGSNAX broken tooth island: a land long forgotten sunken under the sea where bugsnax are giant & mystery’s lurk. The sacrifices to the bugsnax. The first queens sacrifice to be a queen. The rage she unleashed as she sunk the island……for it to be forgotten. THE FINALE THE ENDING IS AMAZING it’s challenging if you ignored everyone cause the game encourages you to experience everyone’s Arcs through the ending being able to be easily won by completing the quests of everyone so when your defending them they will resist the snaks that attack them. Than there’s reflections everyone’s Arcs close they tell you what they will do…..& it’s beautiful. Also we learn the obvious that clumby was working with the snakolytes. Oh & Filbos mayor. BONUS Mothza supreme supremacy. CONCLUSION THAT IS MY REVIEW ON BUGSNAX I love it even if it can be slightly glitchy but the game serves its purpose s psychological body horror for ALL AGES.
