## What is BuildHound?

BuildHound helps contractors and DIYers price building materials and manage job material lists on the go.

Search for a single product, like a specific 2x4 or a box of screws, and compare prices to help estimate a job. Create a job, add materials by photo, barcode, or manual entry, and keep a running list per property or project.

Point the camera at a material and let BuildHound's AI suggest a match; you always confirm before it is added. On supported hardware, get an on-device length estimate to help with quick field measurements -- always double-check estimates before cutting or ordering.

DIY Pro and Contractor subscriptions unlock job and material-list tools for ongoing projects. The free tier includes single-item price search.

BuildHound does not process payments outside Apple's In-App Purchase system, and does not perform automatic checkout or purchasing on your behalf.
