## What is BuildTrail Scout?

BuildTrail Scout is the field companion for construction teams using the BuildTrail CRM. It brings assigned visits, property context, guided evidence capture, and assessment follow-up into one focused mobile workspace.

• Open customer, contact, property, project, and work-order context
• Start permitted assessments from a property, address, or current location
• Use map and directory views to find the right record quickly

GUIDED EVIDENCE CAPTURE
• Follow required roofing capture slots and condition groups
• Take photos in the app or import selected supplemental photos
• Attach field notes, component context, device orientation, and location provenance
• Preserve originals and upload them through a durable evidence workflow
• Continue protected capture drafts offline and sync when connectivity returns

• Review assessment progress, observations, code checklists, and report history
• View public weather evidence and directional context connected to an assessment

BUILT FOR ACCOUNTABLE FIELD OPERATIONS
BuildTrail Scout respects organization roles and record access. Actions are checked against current server permissions, offline data is protected on the device, and evidence remains traceable to its source. The app does not make autonomous damage, causation, coverage, or code-applicability decisions.

An active BuildTrail organization account is required. Features depend on your organization’s enabled modules, assigned role, and configuration. BuildTrail Scout is intended for trained construction and inspection professionals; it does not replace jobsite safety procedures or qualified human review.
