Dark Mode

The app now follows whatever your phone is doing, or pin it to Light or
Dark in Settings and it stays put. Either way, nobody gets blinded
opening a quote at half five in the morning.

Easier to Read on Site

Small grey text, form placeholders and status labels were too faint
against their backgrounds. Fine at a desk. Useless on a roof in July.
Every colour in the app has now been measured against accessibility
contrast standards and corrected where it fell short.

The Right Colours

Every screen has moved onto our proper palette, so the app, the website
and the web app finally look like the same product.

Fixed and we should have caught these sooner

Resetting your password from the app. It did nothing at all. No error,
no email, no clue. It works now.

Deleting a labour role or a quote line. Both buttons were there and
neither did anything. And a labour role that is still in use will now
refuse to go, with a note telling you what is holding it, rather than
quietly detaching itself from work you have already priced.

Showing or hiding the budget on a client portal now saves.

Editing a scope of works on a project now saves.

Bring your own licensed schedule. BuiltUp supplies the engine, not the
rate data.

Bind a job to a term contract and every line prices itself: coded to a
schedule code, your contract uplift already applied. Search by code when
you know it, by wording when you don't. Drop lines in straight from the
schedule. Raise works orders that reconcile against your client's order
without a spreadsheet in the middle. Estimates, totals and quotes all
come off the same schedule, so the numbers agree with each other and
with the contract.

Scope from site photos

Walk the property, photograph it, get a scope back. What's there, what
condition it's in, what needs doing. Shoot in the app or pull from your
library. Set the sector first, residential, commercial fit-out, office
and workplace, or local authority and social housing, and the analysis
follows the right trades.

Estimating that shows its working

- Watch an estimate build line by line instead of staring at a blank
  screen
- PDF plans and works orders are read properly now, the drawing as well
  as the text
- Materials from your price book price as materials, not as a day rate
- Estimates generate into the variation you actually selected
- When an estimate can't be produced, the app tells you why instead of
  handing you an empty scope
