## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Privacy issues

*2026-02-24*

Used a lot of different bullet journals and this one can’t use on my laptop but most importantly there’s some privacy issues

**Developer response:** Sorry for the unpleasant experience, but I need to state very seriously that our app absolutely has no privacy issues. All data is stored locally on your device and in your iCloud. You can verify this through any technical means. If you have any concerns or questions about privacy, please feel free to raise them and we will definitely answer them for you.

Also, if you are using a Mac with an M-series chip, you can use the Mac version of the app.

### 1/5 — Not worth the purchase

*2025-04-12*

I wanted to revisit my appraisal of this app given the recent supportive review. Let it suffice to say, I am not sharing the same experience. Without the name calling, my opinion stands…

NOT worth one star.

Once again, it was not possible to thoroughly assess the functioning of this app at the time that this app was available to me until I was locked into a purchase or subscription. The app remains much too buggy and does not perform as suggested in the app store.

**Developer response:** According to the description in the book The Bullet Journal Method, the content from the weekly log will not automatically appear in the daily log—you need to use the migration function to move entries from the weekly log to the daily log. Similarly, content from the yearly log won’t appear in the monthly log.

### 1/5 — Garbage !!!

Garbage !!! Not worth one star.
Could not thoroughly assess the functioning of this app until I was locked into a purchase. Much too buggy and not user friendly. Garbage !!!

**Developer response:** I'm very sorry for the negative experience you've had. Perhaps you could send me an email to let me know which features you found unsatisfactory.

### 1/5 — Buggy and doesn’t make sense

*2024-08-27*

Many things do not work properly, and I couldn’t understand how to use it

**Developer response:** I'm very sorry to bring you a bad experience. Maybe you need to read the “bullet journal “book to understand how to use it.

### 3/5 — How do you find the Mac app?,

How do you find the Mac app?,

### 3/5 — Is there a Mac or web app

*2026-04-22*

Is there a Mac or web app

**Developer response:** Thanks for your support. A Mac version for Apple Silicon (M-series chips) is available.

### 4/5 — Custom repeats?

*2026-08-09*

Hello. Would you be so kind to consider customizable “repeat” settings for the next update please? Please. 😭😭😭

### 4/5 — Love this app

*2025-12-08*

I love the clean, minimal design of the app and the overall Bujo functionality. The only thing I would change is maybe add in the themes settings, different colors and fonts.

**Developer response:** Thank you very much for your support and suggestions. I will carefully consider your opinions.

### 5/5 — Worth it!

*2026-03-09*

I tried the free version for the last month, I almost fell off towards the end. But, I decide to stick it though. Glad I did, this is easily the closest app to the way I actually use my physical journal. I enjoy the flexibility and the updates. It was a bit overwhelming at first, since i felt it had too much white space, particularly in the weekly view. But when i looked past that and focused on project breakdowns, things really changed.

Feature request:

If possible. Please add a “Migrated & Delete” task option to the drop down. When I migrate tasks I usually don’t want to know what day I originally scheduled it for. I just want the one copy.

**Developer response:** Thank you very much for your support. Your suggestion is excellent, and we will add the relevant configuration in a future version.

### 5/5 — The BEST, hands down.

*2025-08-17, version 1.5.6*

Top quality bullet journaling app, worth every penny. Invest the time in setting it up the way with your tags and categories, and you will be disappointed! I love it.

## Most praised reviews (3 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Best organizer

*2025-06-02*

Extremely useful, clean, and functional. Gives you the paper texture while maintaining the slickness of technology.

**Developer response:** Thank you very much for your support.

### 5/5 — Good app; person who rated it bad is a loser

*2025-03-29*

This app functions perfectly and is cleanly designed and minimalistic. If you're looking for a digital bullet journal, this is it.

**Developer response:** Thank you very much for your support

### 5/5 — Super nice

*2024-08-30, version 1.2.4*

I really hope this app survives and is supported forever.. I love it. There are a few things I’d like to see fixed, like choosing the size of photo on display, but otherwise, it’s very very similar to using a paper journal with the BuJo method.. though, I haven’t had the need yet to “migrate” my tasks to another week or date yet, and I’m hoping it all will go smoothly! Love it so far!!
