From 23 August an App Store subscription is $7.99 a month or $47.90 a year — the same as on bujusjujus.com. We used to charge more in the app to cover the App Store's commission; now we absorb it. If you already subscribe, Apple moves you to the lower price automatically at your next renewal. There is nothing to tap, and nobody pays more than they did before. An alert priced above your limit no longer says "Deal ended." Nothing had ended — you had simply filtered it out. Those rows now read "Over your limit" and keep counting how long the item has actually been in stock, so you can watch a real restock stay live and still change your mind about it. Also in this release: • Settings → Danger zone no longer claims that deleting your account cancels your subscription. It never did. Only you can cancel an App Store subscription, in Settings → your name → Subscriptions — which is what the confirmation has always said. The two now agree. • Your saved sign-in is held more strictly on this device, and no longer travels inside a device backup. • Links opened from alerts and notifications are checked more carefully before they go anywhere. We'll still email your sign-in details, so the same account works on the web app too. Reinstalled, or switched phones? Tap Restore purchases. Manage or cancel any time in your Apple Account settings. Set your own price limit. Settings → Price limit lets you say how far over MSRP you're willing to go — anywhere from full retail only, up to 50% over. Alerts above your limit stop notifying you, but still appear in your feed, dimmed, so you can decide for yourself. The limit follows your account, so it applies on the web app too. You can also now choose where a Drop Watch alert takes you. Tapping one used to always open the retailer page the post was about — now Settings → Drop Watch lets you pick that or the original X / Reddit post instead.
