This app is for people who have at least a basic understanding of a foreign language and who want to drastically improve it and bring it to the next level.

Reading books is a great and efficient way to quickly gain and expand your vocabulary and grasp language structure and patterns.

It is a truly incredible way, used and loved by many people around the world. I can confirm it as I learned English by reading books myself and met many people who also did so.

– About the app:

The app allows you to read books and translate unfamiliar words with a single tap. It is infinitely more convenient than copying every word to a separate translator app.

No need to make word cards with the words you don't know and put any effort in memorizing them. Just keep reading and whenever you encounter an unfamiliar word - translate it. After doing so for about 3-5 times you will memorize the word.

You can look up a word's definition using one of the dictionaries available in iOS and translate whole sentences and bigger pieces of text as well.

It is also possible to save translations as favourites. It can be useful for some rare or fascinating words.

The app itself is quality made and boasts a simple easy-to-use interface, high stability and performance. It has all the necessary features and settings for comfortable reading.

Even if you have just basic language skills start reading simple children's books now and after only a week(!) of consistent reading you will be amazed by the progress you've made. After a few months, or even sooner, you will be able to read fluently barely using the translation feature.

As a further step, аfter you feel like you can read freely enough, start watching movies in the language you learn with subtitles in the same language. It is an incredible way to improve your speech perception ability.

You will be surprised, but the words, phrases and language patterns you memorized will allow you to communicate with natives without any problem.
If you think about it, that is what children do when they learn their first language - they simply absorb language around them and then reproduce it. You can do it too.

I love this app so much. The only thing that could improve is if it enables in line translation without needing to select and tap on translate manually.

Almost great, with convenient dictionary translations available from a single tap. But Bukus can have difficulty rendering some epub files correctly, while other ebook readers exhibit no such problem. It also lacks an in-place file browser, so new books must be imported using the Share menu from elsewhere. The app has a tendency to stall or become unresponsive, requiring a force-quit.

No era lo que esperaba, es muy complicado su uso. Traduce solo palabras y no un texto completo, no lo recomiendo.

**Developer response:** ¡Hola!  Para traducir un fragmento de texto, simplemente selecciónelo y toque el botón de globo.  Para traducir una palabra solo tóquela.  No puede ser más fácil que eso.  Si esperaba la capacidad de traducir libros completamente a un idioma extranjero, lamento decepcionarlo, no hay una aplicación en el mundo que pueda hacerlo con una calidad aceptable.  La traducción automática moderna todavía no es lo suficientemente buena.  Si simplemente entendió mal lo que hace la aplicación, no creo que merezca una calificación de una estrella.  Espero que lo reconsideres y lo elimines.  También te aconsejo que le pidas a Apple un reembolso.

Hi! To translate a piece of text, just select it and tap the globe button. To translate a word just tap it. Can’t be easier than that. If you expected the ability to fully automatically translate books into a foreign language, sorry to disappoint you, there is not an app in the world which can do it with an acceptable quality. Modern machine translation is just not good enough yet. If you simply misunderstood what the app does, I don’t think it deserves a one star rating. I hope you reconsider and remove it. I also advise you to ask Apple for a refund.

The used MS and Yandex translators are very bad. In many cases, they just transliterate the words.

Bukus is exactly the app I was looking for.
Switching between dictionary app (which needs internet everytime) and the viewer 
was quite irritating. 
Also the user interface is high quality and can see it is improving every time updated. 
Highly recommend to people who is struggling to learn new language and reading book w foreign languages!
