The Bukus reader's interface is basic but provides everything I need in a reader without the clutter common in some readers.

I am unable to get a book into the app. I emailed customer service and got no response. Please help?

**Developer response:** Hello! Please download the latest app version and tap the big plus button on the main screen. There was a problem with that button in one of the previous versions, but it is has been resolved.

No era lo que esperaba, es muy complicado su uso. Traduce solo palabras y no un texto completo, no lo recomiendo.

**Developer response:** ¡Hola!  Para traducir un fragmento de texto, simplemente selecciónelo y toque el botón de globo.  Para traducir una palabra solo tóquela.  No puede ser más fácil que eso.  Si esperaba la capacidad de traducir libros completamente a un idioma extranjero, lamento decepcionarlo, no hay una aplicación en el mundo que pueda hacerlo con una calidad aceptable.  La traducción automática moderna todavía no es lo suficientemente buena.  Si simplemente entendió mal lo que hace la aplicación, no creo que merezca una calificación de una estrella.  Espero que lo reconsideres y lo elimines.  También te aconsejo que le pidas a Apple un reembolso.

Hi! To translate a piece of text, just select it and tap the globe button. To translate a word just tap it. Can’t be easier than that. If you expected the ability to fully automatically translate books into a foreign language, sorry to disappoint you, there is not an app in the world which can do it with an acceptable quality. Modern machine translation is just not good enough yet. If you simply misunderstood what the app does, I don’t think it deserves a one star rating. I hope you reconsider and remove it. I also advise you to ask Apple for a refund.

The used MS and Yandex translators are very bad. In many cases, they just transliterate the words.

**Developer response:** Good news! The translators are now replaced with the translator from Google which also offers the ability to translate offline. Enjoy your reading and have a nice day :)

Almost great, with convenient dictionary translations available from a single tap. But Bukus can have difficulty rendering some epub files correctly, while other ebook readers exhibit no such problem. It also lacks an in-place file browser, so new books must be imported using the Share menu from elsewhere. The app has a tendency to stall or become unresponsive, requiring a force-quit.

I love this app so much. The only thing that could improve is if it enables in line translation without needing to select and tap on translate manually.

I was looking for a replacement for my Kindle Paperwhite, which allows me to keep a list of the words and definitions that I look up. This App does exactly that for my books in pdf and ePub format. Thank you, developers!

Exactly what I have been looking for. This app helps reading books in foreign languages by showing you translation and definition of every unfamiliar word and allows you to save those words for later learning. Nice design/animations and understandable UX/UI. Great job

Bukus is exactly the app I was looking for.
Switching between dictionary app (which needs internet everytime) and the viewer 
was quite irritating. 
Also the user interface is high quality and can see it is improving every time updated. 
Highly recommend to people who is struggling to learn new language and reading book w foreign languages!
