### 3/5 — UPDATE THE APP!!

*2024-10-03, version 4.6*

App needs updated

### 4/5 — Great app Needs Updates

*2022-08-26, version 4.6*

Love this app and have been using for about 10 years. However they need to update ballistic profiles with bullets that have been released in last 5 years. Specifically ELD-X/ ELD-M and ABS profiles since data is out and public.

### 2/5 — No support

*2022-05-18, version 4.6*

The math used for ballistics is great. Spot on.

But there hasn’t been an update for years.
Bullet data base is outdated, needs to work with Kestrel Link.

### 4/5 — Update the app

*2021-06-27, version 4.6*

Why hasn’t this app been updated ?

### 2/5 — Outdated and nearing obsolescence

*2020-10-08, version 4.6*

So many calibers and bullets have been added since this app has been updated, not to mention the new ballistic engines and research by Brian Litz and updated and more accurate BC’s. The app is very useful and accurate if are stuck using one of the preloaded rifle and ammo combinations from the late 90s.

### 4/5 — Great app. 3 years since update

*2020-08-28, version 4.6*

Come on guys. It’s time for new billets to be added.

### 2/5 — Updates?

*2020-01-02, version 4.6*

Has not been updated and it’s not working properly anymore! I’ve had this app for a long time and it was great but needs to be fixed and updated!

### 2/5 — No Updates

*2019-11-11, version 4.6*

I used to love this app when I was in, however there has been no updates in years, lots of new projectiles out now.

### 3/5 — Needs updated seriously

*2019-02-09, version 4.6*

I love this app and its capabilities, works wonderfully but needs an updated projectile database, there are a ton of new projectiles missing that are being used in several calibers especially the 6.5’s.

### 3/5 — Was great, but now it's not.

*2016-10-24, version 4.5*

Customer service has been great for the most part. But the ONLY reason I spent the money on this app is the location and weather updating. When this functioned, I loved this app. Locations and weather stopped functioning. Contacted CS and was told they were working to resolve the issue. The fix resolved the location issue, but the weather data is pulling data from four months ago. Not what I paid the extra money for.

I do love the function of the app, but not worth the price without all of the functions working properly.

### 3/5 — Updates Required

*2016-10-18, version 4.5*

The bullet library is missing some of the more recent projectiles from Berger, Sierra, Hornady and Lapua.
The most recent update does save the scopes settings in Mils, reverting back to default MOA... very frustrating when trying to calculate solutions.
Generally not a bad ballistic engine, just requires a little maintenance to make it great again.

### 3/5 — Worked well until this update

*2016-09-13, version 4.5*

Since last update the scope settings wont save when the program is closed. When i open the settings the metric slider is green and after that the setup is metric. However next time i open the program if i go immediately to a range card it displays in MOA and inches. Go back to settings and metric is still selected....

### 5/5 — Simple yet perfect

*2015-05-25, version 4.3*

This one of those apps that does not need to be flashy to be perfect. It is a simple number solution to bullet trajectory.
Used it for years, from days of iPhone2 to now iPhone6, always worked perfect.
Options are unlimited, from custom loads to all major store brands of ammo.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2015-05-18, version 4.3*

I use this all that time across quite a range of calibre's in the field and it's fast, easy, accurate.

### 3/5 — More updates

*2015-03-30, version 4.2*

Great app, very accurate ballistic solver, however what i would like to see integrated in this solver is a truing option to tell the solver the actual impact then recalibrate to give a cleaner algorithm. Other than that iv used and tested it and its quite good.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — App isn’t working with latest update

*2024-06-30, version 4.6*

Keeps crashing and or will not open

### 1/5 — Junk

*2023-08-28, version 4.6*

Don’t waste your money

### 1/5 — Awful Support

*2023-04-02, version 4.6*

Bullet Flight M does not work with my iPhone 13. Have tried to contact the developer twice now with no response. Apple support was not any help either! Beware of this app!

### 1/5 — Metric/imperial

*2016-10-21, version 4.5*

There is something wrong with the metric/imperial setting. After metric is chosen it keeps going back to imperial after the app was closed.

### 1/5 — Disappointed with the up-keep

*2015-11-27, version 4.3*

This app hasn't been updated for a while. Paid $30 for an app and it still doesn't support the built-in barometer. There are better apps out there than this. Initially I really liked it but am disappointed in development.

### 1/5 — First version incomplete - now it's ok

*2015-03-26, version 3.1.0*

I'm was a little bit disappointed at first. I have downloaded the program, but it was different from screenshots showed on the iTunes store. "Wind angle" input field not present, so the program was quite unusable for the purpose of calculating the bullect impact. Also the "Mrad Display" was missed in my version 1.0. It was a pity. Now, with version 1.1 (free upgrade), it's all ok, and the program it's fully functional. Well done

### 1/5 — Waste of big $

*2015-03-21, version 4.2*

Not nearly enough factory or custom loads to choose from. No input of hand loads allowed. Seriously I want my money back, curiosity comparing this app to "Shooter" and "Mil-Dot Ballistics" really screwed me over.

### 1/5 — Bulletflight military

*2014-07-26, version 4.0.0*

I agree with TRP12345 entirely.

### 1/5 — Broken since 2014 started; no updates in years

*2014-06-03, version 4.0.0*

The weather and location updates haven't worked for months. When it did work, it did not always pull complete data (altitude, location, pressure, wind, etc.).

I have mrad and MOA scopes. It doesn't allow setting up each weapons system to account for this. Instead one must go to a different screen and change the unit of radial measure for all weapons systems.

The "get angle" option is user friendly under some conditions. I would prefer an option to type in the +\- height of the target compared to the muzzle.

The projectile (ballistics) database needs more functionality. A more direct transfer from the data base would be a benefit. Allowing multiple transfers and more projectiles would also be a nice feature.

The appearance is juvenile at best and often one of first things mentioned by friends when showing them the App at the range. Please take advantage of the HD Retina screen on the next update.

It does provide accurate adjustments (scope dope); provided that the shooter inputs accurate data. It has put me on target at every attempted distance with every weapons system under many different conditions. One does have to appreciate the physics calculations going on in the background.

With a few simple updates, this App would be a 10 out of 10.

### 1/5 — How about updating the app

*2013-11-21, version 4.0.0*

Works great, other than 1 thing after paying $30.00 for an app you would think they would take the time to update it. App hasn't been updated in almost 3 years.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — My go-to software

*2024-12-12, version 4.6*

This software (M version) has provided me first round hit accuracy to 1528 yds with 6.5PRC and 7mmRM. Been usng this for nearly 2 decades. There is more expensive and complicated software but, IMO none better.

### 5/5 — Very accurate and easy to use

*2022-10-28, version 4.6*

I have been using this app for years and it has never let me down.

It has given me correct dope that was accurate enough to make 450+ yard, first shot kills, year after year.

I have tried other apps, but they were so complicated that it made them impractical to use.

Bullet Flight M is easy to use, especially when time is critical and you need dope now.

I use it in my long range shooting school and I highly recommend it for all shooters.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2017-12-18, version 4.6*

I having been using bullet flight for a few years now. It has been very consistent as long as you input good info. However, I wish you change the background color, hard to see the numbers while during daylights. Would be nice the have an option.

### 5/5 — Love it

*2017-11-30, version 4.6*

Works great, thanks for making a nice app.

### 5/5 — Best ballistic app

*2017-11-24, version 4.6*

Have had this app for years now and love it. It's not only great to have when shooting, but also when comparing different caliber's or bullet weights/types. Price only hurts once! It's the only app I feel Iv truly got my money's worth out of!

### 5/5 — Best On the Market

*2017-04-03, version 4.6*

I've used this app for a few years now storing several rifles in it. Calculations are very precise. I mean so precise that I took my longest shot to date with running this app at 2606yds. Between this app my 338 Cheytac and my Leica 1600B for getting atmospherics it's a deadly combination. Only thing I wish the programmers should do is set the maximum distance to 5000yds for us ELR Shooter. Love the app.

### 5/5 — Great Ballistic Calculator!

*2017-02-11, version 4.6*

I've enjoyed using this app for my 6.5CM as well as my 300WM. Quickly spells out necessary adjustments and gets me on target. Worth the money!

### 5/5 — Best App For Any Shooter BUT.....

*2015-09-25, version 4.3*

I have had this application for a few years now..... It is fantastic BUT it should have the ability to take notes on a specific load. You can program many different loads, caliber, BC's, and custom hand loads too. This is the best ballistic calculator I have used. A little tweet for notes and it's 5 stars all day.

Developers: Make it compatible with Apple Watch. That would be awesome. No more data cards.

### 5/5 — Great app for long range shooting

*2015-09-22, version 4.3*

This app worked a treat

### 5/5 — Great app

*2015-09-01, version 4.3*

I have used this app with multiple guns under both target and hunting scenarios with great accuracy and great percentages of first round strikes. I would recommend to anyone looks my for a reliable easy to use app.
