Has just what you need without being overcomplicated -Its free. There is a tip jar (which I used) but its voluntary -No data mining. Data policy is no collection -Obvious small developer. Its clear that this was made by a shooter for shooters, not developed to extract money. Thank you! Cons- -Only one, limited support. I get it. Anyone who uses this app should get it. It was a gift to us more than a transaction. This guy undoubtedly has a regular job and this was a side hobby. He may well have lost interest, especially after reading some negative reviews. BUT…if he took a few minutes to update his email address and fix the ‘setup delete’ bug, all of his users would be very grateful Im sure. And retract negative comments, right guys? (Hint) Sifting through samples and mistakes is pretty annoying. Summary. Its not perfect but it has what I wanted and I like it. It just needs a few hours of polish to be perfect. I cant see using a subscription app when this is available and easier to use. And I always appreciate apps that aren’t corpo data miners or expensive subscription based. ### 3/5 — No longer syncing with iCloud *2023-05-14, version 4.1.0* This was my goto ballistic app but recently I had to upgrade phones and now under iOS 16.4.1 I can not get the 8 years of load data transferred. I’ve synced both app versions but I’m now manually writing my data to a notebook and moving to a different program. Really ashame that this good simple tool has been left to die ### 3/5 — Can’t format other load data *2023-03-30* I’m getting very frustrated about not being able to delete prior load data. Especially the stuff that comes on the map. It just closes out when you try to delete anything! It’s accurate and such but I hardly use it now because of how user unfriendly it is. 2 stars due to this alone. Fix this and you’re looking at 5 stars easy! Please fix soon! It’s maybe not quite as accurate calculating bullet drop as something like QuickLoad, but it’s close enough, plus you don’t get QuickLoad, on your phone, & in your pocket !. All the other calculators I’ve tried may be more comprehensive, but are far more complicated & cumbersome to use in the field. I have the same minor problem though. When I try to delete an entry, the app shuts down, & the entry is still there. ### 3/5 — Good clean app….but *2022-06-02, version 4.1.0* The App is easy to use and effective but after down loading there are saved loads that I did not input and can’t delete. Ability to delete bogus or old loads is a key basic function that should be corrected. ### 2/5 — Saved loads *2022-05-16, version 4.1.0* The load delete function doesn’t work after loads are saved. It has useless default loads that can’t be deleted either. Hitting delete kicks you off the app. Once you save loads they are there for good and won’t have room to delete old loads and add more ### 4/5 — Great , but minor issue! *2022-03-21, version 4.1.0* Been using for years and the App has worked well! Accurate as far as I can tell. As others have said, the app won’t let you delete old loads, which is why I have gi en it 3 stars. Otherwise , the paid version is worth the price. ### 4/5 — Use of the ballistic table *2022-03-02, version 4.1.0* Okay the ballistic table is fairly accurate if you have the information accurate when putting it in. It diffidently gets you close to the area you’re aiming at. The one issue with the app you can’t delete loads after saving it. Also, the app crashes whenever you try to delete an old load you don’t need anymore. Not a problem if you only have a few, but if you have to scroll through 20+ loads to find the one you want because there are 10 old saved loads you’re not allowed to erase to becomes annoying. ### 4/5 — BulletDrop + *2021-12-26, version 4.1.0* Love it and it gives good data and easy to use. Parametric data reverts to default values randomly. Doesn’t fix the persistent issues that plague the app such as when attempting to delete the 3 ballistic profiles that came with the new update, the app closes out to the main iOS screen. ### 1/5 — iPhone 12 Not Supported *2021-10-21, version 4.1.0* I used this app on my iPad 3 and iPhone 5. I loved it so much I bought the paid version back in the day. I bought a new iPhone 12 and none of my custom loads will sync to it. None of the loads will sync to it, not even the default loads. I have nothing in my loads list, it’s blank. I contacted Apple support and they said they don’t support 3rd party apps and that I should contact the developer. I tried to contact the developer but the email address didn’t exist and my email went nowhere. I ran the app one day just before a match, and found that all my saved data was gone. I had cloud turned on but it is not there either. Totally gone. Can not even update any saved data. Keeps jumping back 168 data and even that data can't be updated. For the practical application I use Bullet drop. I shoot competitions from 200-1000yds known distance. My chronograph speeds, speed at the target, and bullet drop are all pretty good.
