Don’t need all the fancy scope site adjustments just need to see full target and Allie us to zoom large to see last shot! ### 1/5 — Software Review *2020-12-20, version 4.4* Old version, the ammo can I bought 4-5 years ago, is excellent. The new camera works well, but software is terrible. Latest version crashes when trying to view the gallery. I don’t know what happened or why they would take a step backwards like this. I wish there was a way we could still run the original software. Who made this new trash? Obviously people that have no idea what real shooters want or need. Excellent concept though. Now that they change the app I cannot get it to work and they never answer the phone. I don’t know if the old systems are compatible with the new app or what but I can’t get it to work. It be nice if you can get a hold of somebody I tried emailing to and they won’t answer that. Upon connection app does not allow camera to be used as I had intended, ie, as a spotting device to see hits. Must do configuration for target size, range, etc. do yourself a favor, return camera and purchase a different brand. It did the job and the app was very basic. I use it to practice for service rifle completion. A few months ago the app on my tablet was upgraded. That was a terrible mistake. The new app is very frustrating to use. They have diminished the size of the target image that is displayed by adding useless side bar menus. Between that and the image is now even darker than it was before making it very hard to see the shots. The ability to drag the image has also been removed. It appears that whoever coded the app was not a shooter. I wish they would completely change the new app or put the old one back up for us to download. They have almost completely ruined my investment in their camera system. ### 1/5 — Ok, how do I uninstall this POS? *2020-06-18* Worked just fine for several years. Now a forced update, which I didn’t want or ask for, and it no longer finds or connects to my original Bullseye long range system. Trash! Don’t buy anything related until this is fixed properly. ### 2/5 — Does not work with Spot Shot *2020-06-17, version 4.3* I purchased the Spot Shot because the manufacturer said it was compatible with the most current Bullseye app. But it doesn’t pair with the Bullseye Target Manager. I called GSM/ SME, and customer service said, “Yeah, that’s a problem. We’re changing the webpage as we speak.” This app would be GREAT if it paired to GSM’s Spot Shot WiFi camera. Then I could use my spotting scope to help make real-time adjustments to my groupings! ### 1/5 — Miserable software *2020-06-16, version 4.3* I bought the Ammo Can LR about 2 1/2 years ago. It died and I called to see about support. No support available but they sold me a new Sniper Edition at 1/2 price. I got it a few days ago and tried to get it set up today. The camera works well and the picture is very good once I figured out how to get everything connected. The app is miserable to use. It’s not been updated for the newer systems they sell so there is no support there. The previous version 3, I think, is what I had before was much better to use than this one. I couldn’t care less about target games or social media, I’d much rather have the ability to save images to my iPad, delete the target markers and remark them when my finger is not quite right initially marking them and I certainly don’t need some voice telling me where and how much to move my reticle adjustments. I purchased mine over five years ago. It worked great until I installed the updated app now I have a iPhone 16. It will not connect. System is worthless. The app requires you to reconfigure the target size and shape distance meters or yards every time you want to start a new session.You can’t just start a whole screen it makes you size the target. I now always have connectivity issues with the upgraded app even though the Wi-Fi signal is strong. If you have the previous version please do not upgrade it’s better than this version. Not doing that for any personal reason but pride of ownership. The only thing I don’t like is when I don’t take it to the range. My recommendation for the ultimate package would be to link the app with a chrono app for ultimate in data sourcing that would allow us reloaders to obtain that magic bullet for each of our weapons. No complaints otherwise. This system beats any spotting scope. I was sad to see there were any negative reviews on the App Store. From what I've read a lot of people are saying it locks up at the home screen. I had that happen the first time I ever got my system, so I called Bullseye's customer support (which is amazing by the way) and they told me you have to be connected to the camera's wifi BEFORE ever opening the app up! It also says what I just explained on the start up page of the App!
