I haven’t been able to submit a finding for quite some time now. I get the same error message every time. I’m genuinely interested in contributing data, but I’m not going to continue to use the app if I can’t get my bees submitted.

Good app with a brilliant idea however there’s allot of bee types that arn’t on the app therefore we cannot update the app with pictures/locations of less common species.

I read about this group in the July26/19 edition of CBC dot ca (their iOS application). I’ll take it to my spouse’s school garden and try it out!

I like how you can help scientists track bumblebee sightings. It appeals to the naturalist in me. Pollinators are important and dying out. You choose from the possible images of the type of bumblebee you took pictures of. Taking multiple pictures helps from different angles to help you identify. You set up a login to upload 3 of your images. It would be really cool if it you received email contact from a pro if possible or maybe it included other pollinators and what to do for all of them. I'm not sure what could be added, but it's a great app (& website) with so many possibilities and with a mind towards the future.
