I went through the likes as I had paid for a month subscription. I cancelled the auto renew but THE DAY my subscription was no longer active I had 100+ likes show up LITERALLY 6 hours later from when I last checked (11 pm none, massive likes 5 am). I had some trickle in over the pause but not the spike. This is a manipulative practice to get people to pay more. I might have kept my subscription if I knew there were more people liking me. I got A TON of people from other states where I hadn’t visited and said I didn’t want. Dating apps are the worst but this experience is by far the most obvious in its BS. They need to change that feature so you don’t end up liking the same person twice or three times and so on, it’s pretty annoying. Also I did notice a lot of the profiles are not verified, fake or the girls on here expect too much from a guy, there needs to be a double verification process for some of these profiles in my opinion but other then that I think the app is pretty good. It cannot overcome human mentality, hypergamy, and assorted personality characteristics of human so it ends up, not working for either gender on the app. Relationships can’t be built on pictures and words that are written interactions are the core of a truly healthy relationship and this app cannot deliver such. for this app to function to the highest level, you would need to truly understand human personalities and behavior and incorporated into its design to overcome the state issues listed above ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2026-08-30, version 5.476.1* The worst part about this app is that when you have your location preferences set to a certain area but people from outside of that area are still able to see your profile and like you. Bumble uses the excuse that it’s probably users who have travel mode on but I can be on the app at the exact moment a like from outside of my desired area comes thru and they don’t have travel mode on.
