## What is Bumochi?

Bumochi is a focus timer that grows with you.

Pick a pet — a bunny, capybara, or puppy — and help it grow by finishing what you set out to do. Whether you're studying for an exam, getting through a work sprint, or helping a kid through their morning routine, Bumochi turns focus time into something you actually look forward to.

WHAT'S INSIDE
• Visual timers that make time feel tangible
• Pet hatching & growth that rewards consistency, not speed
• Custom tasks and recurring routines
• Empathy breaks — when focus gets hard, your pet offers a gentle pause instead of a buzzer
• Calming background music and ambient sounds (toggleable)
• Accessibility: larger text, reduced motion, simple mode

FOR EVERYONE
• Students cramming for finals
• Remote workers fighting context-switch fatigue
• Parents and kids building morning and bedtime routines together
• Anyone who finds traditional pomodoro apps too stern

PRIVACY FIRST
• No ads. No tracking. No third-party data collection.
• All data stays on your device — nothing leaves your phone.
• Works fully offline.

WHY "BUMOCHI"?
"Bumochi" comes from the Chinese phrase 不磨叽 (bù mó ji) — "don't dawdle." We made it cuddly. The best way to build focus isn't a stopwatch — it's a friend growing alongside you.
