Your friends, mutuals, fellow students, work colleagues, the people who belong to the same clubs or communities as you, etc… there are so many people in our lives that we would like to connect with, get to know better, or simply stay in touch with. On Bump, you can add all of these people or join the community channels that they belong to as a way of connecting with them. When you add someone on Bump, you won’t get social media updates about their life - you’ll actually get to be in their life. Simply click the “Bump Button”, and we will send out an anonymous notification to all the people you’ve added and to the members of the community channels you’ve joined letting them know that someone is online and wants to chat. Whoever responds to that notification first will get connected with you on a video call, where you can introduce yourself or catch up about life or even just take a quick second to say hi. Bump lets you spontaneously connect with the people you want to talk to all at the click of a button. CORE FEATURES Friends list: Control your friends list to determine who can or can’t receive Bump notifications from you based on your mood and press the Bump Button when you’re ready to chat! Community channels: Join various community channels and click the Bump Button to connect with other channel members at random on video chat within 30 seconds. Just like with friends, you can mute channels that you’ve joined as well to customize your Bump experience. When you mute a channel as a whole, notifications will stop being sent out to members of that channel when you press the Bump Button and you will no longer receive any notifications from members of that channel when they press the Bump Button (unless you have added those members to your friends list directly). Anonymous notifications: Respond to notifications to see which one of your friends is online and to get connected to them on video chat! A bunch of my friends and I downloaded it before the summer to stay in touch. I’ve been using it daily, bumping into my friends while we’re all across the world. An aspect I love is you can talk to your friends when you don’t know who exactly to call. It’s less personal than FaceTiming, you can just send out a bump and any friend you’ve added can decide to pick up and hang out.
