## What is Bump?

Built by a personal trainer around the question clients ask more than any other: when am I supposed to add weight?

Bump is a workout tracker built around one idea: you should always know
exactly when to add weight.

Some lifters guess. Bump doesn't. Work from 3×8 up to 3×12 at the same
weight, and when all three sets reach twelve, Bump shows that a weight
increase is ready. Finish Workout saves the final result so the next session
starts heavier. Lifters call it double progression. You'll call it the Bump.

SMART PROGRESSION, DONE FOR YOU
• Movement-aware weight jumps: +10 lb on heavy lower-body compounds,
+5 lb on other compounds, +2.5 lb on isolation work
• The next target is always pre-filled — walk in, lift, check it off
• Ghost pre-fill shows last session's numbers right in the entry box
• Optional warm-up suggestions stay separate from your three working sets

PLANS THAT FIT YOUR WEEK
• Two schedules: 2-day full body, or 3-day upper/lower/full body
• Each comes in Foundation and Build — four movements a day, or five drawn
  from a different exercise pool
• Read every day and every exercise before you commit, Pro plans included
• Train the day you want: tap the day name to skip ahead or repeat one
• Core is programmed twice a week, not bolted onto every session
• Switch plans anytime — your working weights come with you
• Or skip plans entirely: Custom Workouts with unlimited sets

TRACK WHAT'S ACTUALLY CHANGING
• Progress charts for every lift — watch the working weight climb
• Optional body tracking: bodyweight, body fat %, and tape measurements
• History keeps every session: duration, sets, volume, and the bumps
  you earned

BUMP PRO — ONE PURCHASE
• Build plans: five movements a day from a different exercise pool, on the
same 8–12 progression rule as the free plans
• Custom plan builder: assemble and name your own programs
• IRON and PULSE themes, each with a matching home-screen icon
• Apple Health sync for finished workouts, body weight, and body fat %
• Buy it once. No subscription, ever.

YOURS. ACTUALLY YOURS.
• No account, no sign-in, no subscription
• Everything stays on your phone — nothing is collected, ever
• Export your complete training log to CSV anytime

### Does Bump have ads?

No, Bump does not contain advertisements. It is designed to be a clean and focused workout tracking experience without interruptions.

### What are the weight increment suggestions in Bump?

Bump intelligently sizes weight jumps based on the exercise type. For heavy lower-body compounds, it suggests +10 lb increases, while other compounds get +5 lb, and isolation exercises receive +2.5 lb increments.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.1 — 2026-08-14

The plan library is rebuilt around how many days you actually train. Pick a
2-day or 3-day schedule, then Foundation or Build, and read every day of every
plan — including the Pro ones — before you choose.

You are no longer locked into one day at a time: tap the day name on Today to
skip ahead or repeat a session, and the rotation picks up from whatever you
actually did. Switching plans keeps your working weights, your history, and
your progress exactly as they were.

If you are following an older plan, it stays where it is and keeps working
until you decide to switch.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-08-11

Today now makes it easier to choose a workout plan, see weekly progress, and learn how to pick your first working weight. Profile and Settings now live behind your avatar.
Optional warm-up suggestions are here: editable, saved in History, and kept separate from working sets and Bump progress. This update also improves purchase recovery, numeric-entry safety, and first-launch reliability.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-09

Workout logging is clearer and more reliable:
• Planned and Custom Workouts are easier to distinguish.
• Custom Workouts open with three editable set rows and smarter suggestions.
• Bump Ready now celebrates 3×12 immediately, while Finish Workout safely saves final progression.
• Fixed kilogram entry, workout-history Bump matching, and duplicate progression risks.

### 1.0 — 2026-08-08
