In the past couple of months, however, they have become unreliable. They continue to change my delivery times when I make an order. It’s one thing to change it to later in the day, but unfortunately when i am buying groceries I can’t wait 5 days to get them. Such a bummer! ### 3/5 — Where are you? *2025-03-04, version 7.76.0* 1. Was such a great resource for our family with 2 adults working 3 jobs. So bummed out and frustrated. ### 3/5 — Not as great as it could be *2025-02-26, version 7.75.0* It’s great in theory but I’ve had issues the last few deliveries with drivers placing my orders down my front walk instead of on my very large doorstep (I’ve never had any other delivery service or even shipping service do this) and drivers damaging my 12 packs of water. They require you to contact support for refunds for missing or damaged items and sometimes it requires lengthy back and forth over email which isn’t necessary. I used to be able to get an order within a day or two but now it’s 3-5 days out, so I just end up using another service even if it costs more. I appreciate being able to shop multiple stores in one order but the frustrations with my recent deliveries and the lack of care from support over the issues has left me feeling like it’s not worth it. It saves me a lot of time and is reasonably priced. It does take some time to add in substitutions and you need to be on standby when the shoppers have questions. There are a lot of text updates. It has filled a niche we really needed for grocery delivery, and they do it with efficiency and environmental consciousness. The app has grown leaps and bounds since I started using Buncha, as well as the store offerings and the scheduled delivery days! It’s great to see things constantly improving and it makes me happy to support them. My most used features — the product search, change delivery window, sort by store function, and substitution selection all work very well. The live map works really great as well. The 4/5 stars I give is just because things have some room to improve, but it is a newer app so ultimately I’m happy to see it constantly being worked on and becoming more robust all the time! Unrelated to the app but I LOVE the bag return cycle and love that I am able to use the Buncha insulated bags during the week between deliveries — they’re perfect for taking to the farmers market by the way! I’ve even had people ask me about Buncha because they saw the bag. Their most recent update has improved their search engine and the food categories have become more organized. The service itself is also amazing! I love that you can choose more than one grocery store to have goods delivered on the same order. Shoppers are great at communicating any issues such as out of stock items and suggesting alternatives. Delivery is always on time and drivers send updates on their progress. The cost of Buncha is well worth it as it saves me the time and inconvenience of having to go to multiple stores. Meanwhile, my neighbor next-door gets this service almost all the time. It’s very frustrating considering that I’m went through surgery and I’m not able to move right now. ### 1/5 — Terrible quality company *2025-05-08, version 7.77.1* Don’t use Buncha! They used to be good, but they no longer communicate at all when they’re bringing your food. The past few times they’ve left my perishable food outside in the sun with no insulated bags and I had to throw some of it out. I’ve talked to customer service multiple times, tried to call to see when my food was on the way. No more. Shopping everyone’s order at once really messes with the inventory in the store! I can’t tell you how many items the stores is always out of stock! Glitchy app: My app was up to date on my phone but somehow I couldn’t open it even after restarting my phone. So I wasn’t able to communicate with the shopper while my groceries were being picked up. I can finally open the app after uninstalling and reinstalling but still couldn’t access my order summary. 2. Late delivery: The delivery window I chose is 5-8 pm but my grocery never arrived during that time period. I messaged the support center and waited for more than 20 minutes until they finally replied. My groceries were delivered after 9 pm and I couldn’t even remove my tip. ### 1/5 — App never loads *2023-02-17, version 7.1.4* The app tells me there’s a high volume and then fails to ever load.
