## What is BunkerLog?

BunkerLog is your privacy-first emergency preparedness inventory manager.

Point your camera at any product - the on-device AI instantly detects the item name, brand, category, and expiration date. No typing needed. All processing happens entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework.

Never let supplies expire unnoticed. BunkerLog sends you configurable push notifications before items reach their expiration date, so you always know what needs replacing.

- Improved brand recognition.
- Added learned brands. Type a brand once while adding or editing an item and BunkerLog recognizes it in later scans. Rename, merge or remove them under Learned Brands in the settings.
- Added Recommendations - a baseline preparedness checklist in Settings, scaled to your household (people, days, diet, infants, pets). 
- Category icons now appear in the category picker, so the right category is easier to spot.
- More accurate categories while scanning.

- Consume by the unit: swipe or long-press an item to use up a single unit, or pick "Consume..." to choose an amount. A multi-pack stays in your inventory with its expiration alerts running until the last unit is gone.
