And by far, the AI Buddy assistance has been ultra useful it’s the first time I’ve been using it and holy it answered all my questions so well, it updated my cart and it recommended me products specifically from Bunnings. Props to the app development team ### 2/5 — Lithgow Bunnings always out of stock *2026-04-25, version 3.41.0* Whom ever is responsible for the stock levels in the Lithgow store, they need retraining to ensure product availability. More often than not I’m having to drive to Bathurst or Katoomba because the Lithgow store is regularly out of stock. The outdoor checkout area is regularly unattended by staff, creating unnecessary wait times for customers and some staff are down right, intentionally unhelpful. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Frustrating online shopping experience *2026-08-17, version 3.45.1* I've unfortunately never been able to successfully add items to my cart using the app. Every time I try, I receive the error: "Something went wrong. Please try again in a few moments or try adding products to your list for later." The app is updated to the latest version, so I'm not sure what is causing the issue. It's particularly frustrating when I'm trying to shop online, as I can browse products but can't actually add them to my cart. I'm hoping this is something that can be improved in a future update, as I'd really love to be able to use the app for its intended purpose. ### 1/5 — Can’t update latest version *2026-07-14, version 3.42.0* Once again, another app that requires iOS 16 or later!!!🤦🏻‍♀️ Not everyone can afford the luxury of a new phone to update apps. I would love the developer to reply to me explaining why iOS 16 has to be the minimum requirement. If it’s some techo thing, fair enough. But I’m yet to get an answer from any developer that I’ve asked thus far! ### 1/5 — Worst website to purchase online *2026-07-11, version 3.44.0* This is the most convoluted, frustrating website I’ve used for click and collect. It keeps sending you in circles, especially when trying to pay with PayPal. I shouldn’t have to download extra apps just to use this obtain for payment. If you only accept credit cards, remove PayPal as an option. ### 1/5 — Update App *2026-07-08, version 3.42.0* Can not update iPhone 7 therefor can not use app as it requests update. ### 1/5 — Bunnings app no longer works *2026-07-05, version 3.42.0* The app no longer works on my iPad or my iPhone, when I open the App up, it tells me to update the app, go to the App Store and it tells me I already got the latest version, open it and same again once opened it tells me to update, its a vicious cycle ### 1/5 — Sooo slow *2026-06-10, version 3.43.0* Ever simce the AI features were added it’s become so painfully slow. Having to jump out of the app for Reviews is annoying, and then the site (in browser) is even slower!!! I’ve found I have to close the referred-page and start it up fresh. Would have been easier to drive to the store and shop. Your system asks for my billing address which is a PO Box number, as we don’t get Austpost delivery, but your stupid system would not accept it. Why ask for “billing address” if you won’t accept my official billing address. Why not ask for a “delivery address” or “home address”?. I have never found another major business offering the same consistently high standard of service, supported by such friendly, patient and helpful team members. I would also like to sincerely thank Bunnings for introducing the ability to search for a specific item among the digital receipts stored in the app. It was a feature I had personally requested, and seeing it implemented confirmed that Bunnings truly listens to its customers. I would now like to suggest one further improvement. Bunnings team members can already enter an item number into their handheld device and make a small red light flash on the relevant electronic price label, allowing the product to be located immediately. Allowing customers to activate the same flashing light through the Bunnings app would be an outstanding feature. It would make products much easier to find, especially among similar items, while avoiding the need to interrupt the always kind and helpful staff for such a simple request.
