Interface has a small but noticeable learning curve that will deter users quickly. 2. Posts NEED to have date of posting. Since this app is clearly not used often I don’t want to find products posted three years ago. Keep it fresh and archive things beyond a date. 3. The ISO feature is sot of obstructive in the feed. Needs a rebalancing in contrast to items. 4. Two column feed will have me infinite scrolling. Everything is more complicated than it needs to be. Can’t edit my profile, don’t get message notifications, it auto logs me out after each session, my 30+ ratings didn’t carry over, none of my previous messages carried over, the activity tab isn’t functional, the front page only shows accounts I follow and not the most recent posts. I shouldn’t have to click into a separate tab to see all posts. Took a hiatus for over a year and literally nothing has been changed, fixed, or updated, despite it saying it’s “coming soon”. The redo was a big mistake and it’s like instead of fixing it they’ve just let it die. It’s really really really sad because I was a frequent user of the app and recommended it to everyone I knew. Before the update I would have given 10 stars if I could and given an amazing heartfelt review. It’s really sad and disappointing it’s no longer what it was. A classic example of if it’s not broke, don’t fix it. It’s a shame because it was pretty cool initially. The main page is showing me listings that are in completely different cities from where I live, even ones in different countries. What’s the point of that? You can no longer delete posts if anyone has messaged you about them. Don’t let me add a second meeting point and now I am completely unable to login or reset my password. I never encountered an app as glitchy as this one. ### 1/5 — A great app…once upon a time ago… *2024-08-31, version 6.0.1* BUNZ was a great app a few years ago. I completed over 200 trades on it. Got some useful stuff. A few years ago they introduced BTZ or “currency” that can be used in the app at local businesses. I’d use it and loved it and often accepted it in exchange for my items. I’m at a point where I have accumulated over 13k in their currency and for the past 4 years it’s just been sitting there! There is no way to spend it so clearly my years of trades have vanished with nothing in return. I’ve emailed about it and gotten no response. Customer service is pathetic. The app also won’t let me delete items that I’ve traded nor get rid of the chats. It has gone from being one of the best apps on my phone to one of the worst. I’m literally deleting the app after writing this review. ### 1/5 — Came back after 4 year hiatus *2024-07-02, version 6.0.1* Moved away and now I'm back in Toronto.. this app has gone insanely downhill. So many glitches. And the whole user interface is just trash compared to what it used to be. ### 1/5 — App not working with new update. Zero Assistance *2024-06-08, version 6.0.0* All of a sudden I am unable to login. 3 weeks trying to get in touch with them. No replies, even on IG (but they keep posting). I had a profile full of pending trades. One day I open the app and I’m kicked out. Login just won’t work anymore. Note: I tried reinstalling, even a brand new signup. Nothing. What a waste of time. You start building a gallery and trades and then randomly lose everything ### 1/5 — They broke it *2024-05-05, version 5.0.4* Bunz used to be really useful. A great way to reduce and reuse stuff. A year or two ago now they launched a series of updates that has made the entire application useless. Listings don’t disappear once completed or deleted so no one can tell what your profile actually has on it. The messaging system is completely bananas and impossible to organize making incoming requests for the same item very messy to deal with. Notifications are spotty or excessively persistent. Images routinely failed to upload. Profiles are nearly impossible to manage. Congratulations they’ve successfully eliminated any functionality once had. what a waste. ### 1/5 — How to ruin a great thing *2024-01-05, version 5.0.4* Bunz is the poster app for ruining something that worked well. Note the 5 star ratings are from 5 yr ago when it worked so well and we all were trading like crazy. Now the app can’t find my location, reposted all my traded items like they are avail again (no I’m not a store!!!!) and can’t do a simple search like ‘ski goggles’ without timing out and freezing. As someone who traded over 200 items - (I think because it deleted all my stats and friends after an update). There was a mishap where the app had a revamp and none of its features were working, leading to a lot of users leaving the app. It has since been fixed and as an avid bunzer, would love to see the app return to its potential.
