Quickly find out the suggested weight you should add when scuba diving in different environments. Based on PADI's Peak Performance Buoyancy basic weighting guideline*. Enter your weight in pounds or kilograms, and additionally set the type of water, tank, and exposure suit to dial in a suggested amount of weight to help keep you neutrally buoyant. *Note that this app and the developer are not officially a representative of PADI. Still though I would say this seems to give a decent estimate. ### 4/5 — Could be better but good *2023-11-07, version 1.3* Of course I see everything that says it over weighs, this is just a suggestion that I would like. The ability to not include the tank in the calculations for free diving because 7mm suits can be quite buoyant and may they need some weighing down, it may also be helpful for snorkeling ### 2/5 — Possibly Good *2023-02-10, version 1.3* This app is super simple to use, very intuitive. It does however not match what I use (or others I checked with), weight wise. I’ve used this as a weight estimator for my students and it always overweights them sometimes by a significant amount. Once you get used to it you’ll start to come up with a fudge factor that works for you. Once you know what your fudge factor is properly weighting yourself when changing tanks, exposure suits and environment becomes a snap. ### 2/5 — Not safe *2022-04-10, version 1.3* The weight recommended to me was almost 4 times the amount that is considered safe for me. Someone relying on this could literally be killed due to being overweighted and drown. 2 stars because the interface was easy to navigate. ### 2/5 — Error for steel tanks? *2022-03-28, version 1.3* When switching from steel 100 to steel 80, the calculator says add 1 lbs. This must be wrong? ### 3/5 — Alright, but only for single tank diving *2022-01-31, version 1.3* Limited cylinder sizes and no option to add more than one ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work properly *2021-03-13, version 1.3* I entered my weight as 94 kg and it said I needed 7.6kg.
