Pulls in the steps ok but exercise mins don’t pull through and stand count is completely wrong. Have my health assessment on Monday so hope they don’t base advice on these incorrect stats. ### 1/5 — App not working *2024-05-22, version 1.5.874* After you log in you get a flicker of the Home Screen and then the app shuts down. I'd read other people have been having the same issue in the recent reviews so I deleted and reinstalled the app. This had no effect. I clicked the "app support" link from the Apple App Store which took me to the Bupa website. I went through the ridiculously long process to get onto the web chat which involves entering your personal details and question then being asked for all those details again by the agent. The agent then asked if I had deleted and reinstalled the app (even though my question clearly stated that I had done this). She then gave me a link to try in a private browser, which didn't work and brought up a message saying "this connection is not private..." She then said she would have to raise the issue with IT and asked for my email address...a third time. What a ridiculous faff. Sort it out Bupa! Ideally without asking me to contact you again as I've already tried that and I'd rather spend my time doing something productive. ### 1/5 — Rubbish *2024-05-20, version 1.5.874* Matches the rest of the BUPA digital experience. Then update has made it unusable. It crashes on load up and just shuts down. Such a missed opportunity to gather a ton of useful data. ### 1/5 — Extremely frustrating to use *2024-02-20, version 1.5.863* You have to log in & provide a verification number every time you open the app. Why not at least provide an option of allow saving a verification number for a day even if you have to input a username & password? verification code takes a long time to come through The chat is frustrating to use.. 1- you cannot save your chats 2 - when the system logs you out in the middle of a chat, I cannot log in to continue my chat, instead I get a new assistant which means I have to reexplain everything. ### 1/5 — Too slow *2024-02-06, version 1.5.863* It is too slow does not update with your Fitbit/watch. If you intend to use it, set aside a good hour to perform a 2 minute task. Use the desktop version. And instead of asking me to contact you as it ‘doesn’t sound quite right’ as you have with MANY other reviews. Try fixing the app as based on the most recent reviews, that’s the issue, not the users. I followed the links to several articles and none of them downloaded due to a 500 internal server error. There is no Back button. It does not inspire me either confidence. Particularly as it is a late entrant into the health data space and most people are already using other platforms/devices. Also the user interface is not easy or intuitive. The recommendations page is also good but none of the links work for recommendations - it gives an error page. For older people who may develop memory problems there should be a section on brain health and memory testing, which could be incorporated into the app - specifically it is now possible these days to get person-specific outcome measures for memory issues and resultant recommendations to improve and maintain brain health. ### 3/5 — Mental health questions *2024-07-17, version 1.5.882* Health questions were unrelated to my concerns and no option to describe my concerns. Did not find it that useful. I received an email saying I had not completed the mental health section. The app asked for my height in ft and inches - I had to go convert from cm. It asked for my weight in stone, and even after it allowed me the option of entry in kg, it later displayed in stone. Now this might sound like a minor inconvenience, but Imperial units are utterly meaningless to me.
