It currently isn’t working even after re installing, updating my phone, everything. Even when it does work it’s unintuitive and just basically awful. If your DZ is contemplating paying for this, for the love of God, DON’T! ### 3/5 — Please Fix *2024-11-02* It seems silly that a skydiving app requires you to change passwords every few months like its something that is at risk of being hacked. I don’t even change my bank passwords that often. It’d be nice to stop needing to change password. ### 3/5 — Merit Connection Doesn’t Seem to Work *2024-10-23* When I go to connect my account with Merit, it doesn’t add any licenses in, even though the licenses show up just fine in Merit. The only things that have been added are things manually from my DZ. It is nice to be able to add myself to a load though. ### 4/5 — Watch problems *2024-01-11* Watch app seems broken. Shows same load repeated, resulting in page showing progression with time change, instead of replacing with new load info. Backing out to My Loads page, then going back in shows blank screen. Backing out to main screen, then back in clears issue. Restarting the app also clears issue. Also, got 5-minute alert almost an hour after flight departure and half hour after landing at DZ! Embarrassing, really. How many people work in tech who jump, and we get this piece of dookie? Too many issues to count. Between the account resets, short schoolbus schizophrenic UI, and other “features” that truly turn a beautiful day at the dz into a full on relapse of rage and alcoholism. Wish we could all tell this clown to go flare somewhere else, but we are all stuck with this for now. Shameful, really. ### 1/5 — Stuck in 2008 *2022-07-29, version 8.4.9* It’s really cool that there’s an app for skydivers to make DZ life easier, but this app is behind by at least 2 decades and makes life so much harder! Skydiving’s already expensive - develop the app and modernize it and charge a yearly 10$ fee or something - skydivers will still buy it for the sake of ease. But let’s catch up with the times. This app causes more problems than it solves. Crashes, guaranteed . Log in all day everyday. Reset password? We’ll send you a reset email between now and the next 4 hours. Add DZ? We’ll take a guess and add them for you. Remove DZ? No sir-ee! Let’s upgrade this app and not give off the impression that our Operating system is as old as the Cessnas we all occasionally jump from ### 1/5 — Crap *2021-02-13, version 8.3.2* This app looks like it was made for IOS3.0. Crashes constantly, has to be reinstalled, the UI is awful. Now I cannot open “join the load” screen at all - it crashes. The only cure is to delete the app and install it again. Until next time I try to add a group. And it’s not fixed for several MONTHS. UI design is made by junior developers, zero usability, terrible design and logic. Tracking warning is impossible to disable. The list of issues is endless. The new log book feature is welcoming as I was transitioning to something electronic. I would like to see a wing load calculator as the next feature. At DZs that utilize the program, my jumps are automatically added to my logbook. All I have to do is adjust the exit altitude and freefall time. At DZs that don't utilize the program, I can still add the jumps manually to stay up to date. I just wish there were a way to download the info in a .xslx format so I could figure out my jump numbers by DZ or jump type. ### 5/5 — Great App! *2014-08-26, version 3.0* This app is long overdue. It simplifies manifesting, creates a record of your activities, and eases the organizing of group skydives. The most efficient change that has happened to skydiving in many years.
