## What is BURGUS?

BURGUS is a fast, one-finger strategy game about building a frontier one connection at a time.

Command a late-antique civilization across 13 handcrafted battles. Drag from your fort to a road-connected site and your cohorts keep marching until you change the order. Capture neutral estates, reinforce your border, sever routes that no longer serve you, and converge on the rival Capital Burgus.

HOLD OR EXPAND?

Every building recruits automatically. Keep cohorts home and your defenses grow; send them down the road and risk leaving a vital junction exposed. Buildings upgrade as their garrisons mature, so every route changes the balance between momentum and security.

WIN THE FRONTIER

Take the enemy capital and hold it through the annexation countdown. The rival can still counterattack, turning the final seconds into a last stand.

- Play in portrait with one finger
- Drag or tap to create persistent Order Lines
- Swipe across one of your existing connections to sever it
- Switch between 1× and 2× battle speed
- Read visible troop counts, routes, ownership, and objectives at a glance
- Pause, restart, retry, or continue with clear touch controls

The campaign gradually introduces neutral expansion, villas, multiple routes, rush orders, supply lines, and sundown battles across increasingly complex road networks.
