### 1.5.1 — 2026-08-04

This update is about correctness. Several parts of the app did not work as intended, and this release fixes them.

FIXED
- Exporting a note to PDF now works. Previously every export failed, for all four note types, because characters used in the note templates could not be rendered. Notes now export and paginate properly.
- The Training module is now reachable on desktop and tablet. It was missing from the sidebar, so the practice tools introduced in 1.5.0 - Radio Report, spaced repetition, and mixed scenario practice - could not be opened outside the phone layout.
- The Daily Challenge can now be completed in every time zone. Learners west of UTC could not finish it, and the practice streak stayed at 1 no matter how many days in a row were completed.
- The Review step of the guided walkthrough now shows your entered scenario on desktop instead of appearing blank.
- Burn depth is now recorded separately for each region, so changing the depth on one area no longer rewrites every other area in the scenario.
- Clearer confirmation when an achievement unlocks, and a visible message when an export or copy action does not succeed instead of failing silently.

IMPROVED
- Larger touch targets and better screen-reader labels across the training screens.
- Spanish translation extended to several screens that were still showing English text.

This version requires iOS 16.0 or later. Devices running iOS 14 or 15 will stay on version 1.5.0 and will not receive further updates.

Smarter training with three evidence-based learning features:

SPACED REPETITION
The trainer now remembers which body regions give you trouble. Weak areas come back sooner for review; regions you've mastered space out over time. Based on the SM-2 algorithm used in medical flashcard apps.

INTERLEAVED SCENARIOS
Questions now alternate between pediatric and adult patients, small and large burns, and different body regions. No more back-to-back similar cases — this mirrors real emergency department variability and builds stronger clinical reasoning.

RADIO REPORT MODE (NEW)
A new training mode that simulates an EMS phone handoff. Instead of seeing the burn pattern on the body map, you receive a verbal description: "3-year-old, 12 kg. Burns reported to: Head — extensive involvement, Right upper arm — approximately half." Estimate the TBSA from the report alone. Tests the same skill used during transfer center calls and nurse-to-physician handoffs. +25 bonus points for accurate answers.

- 1761 automated tests ensuring calculation accuracy

Trainer upgrades:

• Live elapsed timer during TBSA practice questions — see how long each answer takes
• "Completed in X:XX" feedback with comparison to your personal average

• Daily Challenge now uses your local time zone
