The new app is such a step backwards. It is harder to navigate and there is so much lost functionality. Including the just in and just ordered sections. Two thumbs down

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! The new at the library section that you see on the home screen shows items that have just arrived.

I've installed this app on my iPhone and  iPad. Neither of them are working correctly the my bpl section times out too long when trying to see how many books are due for renewal.  Sometimes no results are shown, when I know I have many taken out. 

I have reverted not to use this app because I've already incurred late charges for books that should have shown up. Will never trust this app, always go to the main website for best and accurate information.

It worked fine before and i loved it but now it keeps giving me errors when I try to place holds which is a shame.

a good app to organize all your reading list and sign out books but the app often freezes when using and logs you out almost daily, it gets annoying to have to deal with it everyday.

A good app to show when your books are due and what have you.

Suggestions: the GUI needs to be optimized for the larger screens. If possible enable your library card to be in the Wallet App. This way you don't have to carry the card in your wallet.

I really like this app but you know what would be really cool to add in future versions? Push notifications for holds and items coming due. That would make it the perfect app for me!

### 3/5 — Pretty good, but card barcode is hard to get to

This is a pretty good app with quite a few features. It’s nice to be able to quickly see various information about your account, like what you have checked out, due, overdue, etc. It can also display your card’s barcode so that you don’t have to carry your library card around with you everywhere. HOWEVER, this feature of showing the barcode is quite buried within the app. You have to go to More —> My library card barcode. It’d be a lot better if there were a button for it right at the bottom of the app, and it would also be nice if it opened to that by default when you opened the app because I think a big reason that people will download this app will be to use it instead of carrying around their library card.

Great job BPL I would definitely be encouraged to read more books with this app.  Just renewed books and placed a book I have been wanting to read for ages on hold! Love it! Thanks BPL!

BPL is sticking with the times with this really useful app where I can find out everything I need to know about the Library. The MyBPL option is great for me to stay on top of my account :)

Very helpful and easy to navigate! Only suggestion would be to allow for several library cards to be managed.
