### 4/5 — A Unique Tracker

*2026-03-05, version 2.1.01*

I was looking for a way to visualize my exercise against my drinking, and decided to try BurnBar. It feels like an early stage app but has enough functionality for my use.

The good: it syncs with Apple Fitness, so importing your calories is instant (it’s actually better than most apps for staying up to date). They also have added a way to actually “consume” drinks you’ve earned, which means it’s easier to see what you owe if you go over, or plan ahead for an evening out.

The bad: to unlock all drink types you do have to pay, but I appreciate that it’s a one time fee. I’d also like to see the ability to add custom drinks/calories. I also think the consuming drinks could be easier to figure out from a UC perspective.

Bottom Line: I’m enjoying the app and it’s definitely something I can see keeping up with. Thanks!

### 5/5 — Fun way to track

*2026-03-05*

Only been a few days however this is a very fun way to balance your workouts and your alcohol consumption. App is very easy to use and modify.

**Developer response:** Cheers 🍻

### 5/5 — Responsible brews

*2026-03-05*

Love this app! Gave me a real reason to cut back and hold my self accountable with what I consume regularly! Appreciate you guys for making this ! It really helps ! Go get it everyone ! 💪🏽👊🏽

**Developer response:** Cheers 🍻

### 4/5 — Calories for consumption!

*2026-03-05, version 2.1.0*

Interesting twist on earning your pints rather than counting calories. Burn first reward later! Like the simplicity of the app. Price off app a little higher than expected.

### 5/5 — Perfect balance between fitness and real life

*2026-02-09*

BurnBar is a great way to stay accountable while still enjoying life. It tracks calories for beer and lots of other drinks like mixed drinks and wine, so nothing feels off-limits. I really like being able to see how a beer fits with my workouts instead of guessing or feeling guilty. The whole “earn your drinks” concept keeps things realistic, motivating, and sustainable. Super helpful if you work out but still want to enjoy a beer, cocktail, or glass of wine now and then.

**Developer response:** Cheers 🍻

If you leave a review you get the full Shabam seems like a fun app let’s see how much exercise I need for 17 beers

### 4/5 — Pretty cool.

*2026-01-14*

It’s a good app to have if you want to make sure to stay on top of the calories from drinking or set rules/boundaries with how much you want to drink.

**Developer response:** Earn your drinks 🤙🏼

### 4/5 — It’s fun!

*2026-01-14*

This is a pretty fun idea, give you a goal to earn your treats. I’ll give it a try for a bit.

**Developer response:** Earn your drinks 💪

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Very basic nothing special

*2026-05-25, version 2.2.12*

This app is ok. It doesn’t allow you to add more beers/ drinks than the number you have earned. It is very basic. I would not recommend this to app

### 1/5 — Good idea, horrible execution

*2026-04-29, version 2.2.2*

Absolutely trash as far as user experience is concerned. Like something a 5th grader made that hardly works. Good idea though..

### 1/5 — Don’t work

*2026-01-23, version 2.0.8*

App doesn’t work.

### 2/5 — Another Subscription Tracker

*2026-05-17*

I like the idea, but not willing to pay for ANOTHER subscription. I logged one drink for the week and couldn’t log another until I signed up to pay or opted for the 1-week free trial.

**Developer response:** Hi there, please send me an email, stan@burnbar.app and I can give you a code to use the app. It is a business, so we to make money to continue developing the app but open to any ideas you have? Cheers 🍻

### 2/5 — I like the concept

*2026-04-16, version 2.1.18*

My new drinks earned havent been loading the last few days. I really like the idea of this app, but there are some bugs to work out

### 2/5 — Lame

*2026-01-16, version 2.0.5*

Updated the app and now majority of the drinks are locked until you leave a fake review? Come on now… here’s the review, deleted.

### 3/5 — Unique way to stay accountable

*2026-02-04*

Such a unique way to stay accountable. I wish there was a way to remove the drink from your earned drinks once you’ve claimed it, because I always find a way to justify counting it, even if I already had it.

**Developer response:** We’re looking into better ways to “track” the drinks. You can also make it harder to earn by adjusting your settings 😉

### 3/5 — They updated it and it’s not as cool

*2026-01-17, version 2.0.6*

Self discipline is the key

### 3/5 — Fun

*2026-01-07, version 1.9.5*

Fun tool to use

### 3/5 — Unsure yet

*2026-01-01, version 1.9.5*

Just started. Fingers crossed.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Didn’t think I needed this… I was wrong

*2026-07-21*

Been using BurnBar for about a month and honestly wasn't expecting much. But it's stopped me from doing the thing I always do…telling myself "just 2 drinks" and then somehow being on my 4th because I'm having fun and not thinking about it. Now I actually know what I need to burn off to even it out, so I'm not just guessing or ignoring it like before.

Small thing but it's made a real difference.

**Developer response:** Love hearing this. Also, a lifestyle you can actually stick too!

### 5/5 — Fun app!

*2026-07-10*

This is a super fun app that’s giving me some motivation to move around for the sheer fun of seeing how many adult beverages I’m earning. Whether I’m going to partake or not it’s fun to see! I’ve shared with several friends who think it’s a fun concept too!

### 5/5 — The best balance between fitness and life

*2026-06-26*

For the longest time, I have been drinking without even thinking about how much I actually consume. It always led to me not making my fitness goals and feeling immense guilt but this app changed all that! This app helped me keep track of my drinking AND manage my weight by helping myself be mindful to what I drink and to earn every single one before I even begin.

If you’re like me then you need to get this app ASAP.

**Developer response:** Balance baby ☯️

### 5/5 — I love earning my drinks!!!

*2026-05-22*

This keeps me focus on keeping up with my movement so i can drink less!! ❤️❤️❤️

**Developer response:** Love this ❤️‍🔥🙌🏼

### 5/5 — I Love the Gym but I Also Love Beer

*2026-05-19*

I love this app because I can use it both as a tracker for how many drinks I’m having, AND I can realistically see how much my work in the week at the gym is going toward my work on the weekends in the bar. Super helpful visualization, and love that you can customize based on your drink of choice.

Stan (the creator) super friendly and receptive to feedback, and extremely responsive.

Great app

### 5/5 — Amending

*2026-05-08*

My 4 star review because I love the new feature to go in debt. The visual of the negative to work back to positive is clutch.

**Developer response:** Going into “debt” is now live ‼️ - just make sure you earn your way out 💪

### 5/5 — Get in shape and still party

*2026-04-10*

I like the fact I run 5 miles to earn my beers. Sweet app, might be cool to sell some merch too. Cheers ! I’ll take a large T-shirt if you do!

**Developer response:** Cheers 🍻

### 5/5 — Raise a Glass to Your Gains!

*2026-04-08*

If you’ve ever finished a grueling workout and thought, "I definitely earned a margarita for this," BurnBar is the app you’ve been waiting for. It takes the guesswork out of "earning your weekend" by bridging the gap between your fitness goals and your social life.

BurnBar is the perfect antidote to overly restrictive fitness apps. It encourages movement not through guilt, but through reward.

**Developer response:** Love this ☺️ - Cheers 🍻

### 5/5 — Steps for Wine

*2026-03-31*

Super fun but also keeps me accountable. I like being able to track when I had a glass too 🥳

### 5/5 — Really good app !

*2026-03-16*

Enjoyed the app with a few friend. It’s actually surprisingly good to keep track of calories. You can still enjoy a few beers keep losing weight !

**Developer response:** Cheers 🍻
