Good way to try out different places without breaking the bank. Burpple's coverage is usually better than Yelps so often better for finding new eats in SG. Good alternative to HungryGoWhere ### 4/5 — Great app for the food hunter!! *2015-06-11, version 4.0.0* I discovered Burpple whilst googling for restaurants in a certain area. So far I've found it easy to navigate, it's a very 'clean' app, not cluttered. Straightforward with enough information on any particular restaurant. I like that I can search by area and cuisine, giving me the opportunity to discover new places. Also love that it remembers my previous searches, sometimes something looks interesting to try out but I might forget the name of the place, so I just have to look at my previous searches to find it. ### 3/5 — great and very messy at the same time *2014-07-11, version 3.1.5* No option to add to a personal list unless its being added from someone else's list, otherwise its wishlist adding only, and then theres no way to remove from the wishlist once its there. Personal lists get a convenient map with pindropped locations but the wishlist is just a list. If youre interested in someones entire list theres no way to bookmark or just save the entire list to one of your own lists, you have to add the places one by one. For some reason after adding a bunch of places to my wishlist i checked my profile and i was following 20 people, how did this happen? I definitely didnt press anything to follow anyone. Glitch? Its not clear how recommendations work as there is nowhere to click to leave a 'like' or 'recommend', is it just calculated by people adding them to their wish lists as thats pretty much the only thing you can do on the page? That doesn't seem accurate at all. The only stuff under latest recommendations on the page are posts from Instagram, theres no way to leave direct reviews on the page for the place. The neighbourhoods section could be made easier to navigate, perhaps by having a list of places in a 10-15 minute walking radius before having users posts, because right now unless im in the area already and can use the wonderful tool for finding places within 10-15 min, the only thing i can do to scout an area out is to scroll through random picture posts Otherwise though, the community is great and search options are great for finding specific foods. ### 4/5 — Great app *2013-10-30, version 2.2.2* Excellent app - it's my go to app for food. I use it as a database to organise and remember restaurants. The way you add boxes and categories, and add restaurants to categories is not very intuitive but once you get the hang of it, it works well. Wish you could review as well! ### 5/5 — Great App! It is SO annoying!
