### 4/5 — Great app, but broken, needs update!

*2024-02-11*

I have been using this app for years, probably 1–5 times per month, and it’s super useful when I need it.

However, the app broke when I updated to IOS 17: everything still works, but at the last step (exporting the GIF/movie) is impossible because the buttons are hidden beyond the bottom edge of the screen.

I hope the developer will update the app! I would be a shame not to since everything else (besides the final export) is working fine.

It’s a great app!

### 3/5 — Broken in iOS 14

*2020-09-20*

App was great, but no longer works in iOS 14 — due to the changes that Apple made related to photos permissions. Now, when you select one of your photo bursts, it will instead only import a single one of those photos, so you end up with a single-frame GIF. 🤷🏻‍♂️ App needs to be updated.

**Developer response:** Hi Steve, with iOS 14, the app is unable to fetch burst photos when you give permissions only to selected photos. If you allow permissions in Settings - Burstio - Photos - All Photos, the app will be able to search for bursts. You don't have to worry about your privacy. All photos are processed only on your device, we don't collect any data.

### 4/5 — Tohle jsem hledal, ale...

*2019-05-13, version 1.3.1*

### 4/5 — Works, just one feature request...

*2019-03-30*

Needs the ability to add multiple burst photos together into one video clip.

### 1/5 — It didn’t pick up half the photos!

*2018-05-20*

It didn’t pick out the photo bursts I had wanted to work with and can’t see anyway to add any!

### 4/5 — too small speeds

*2018-04-19*

add please 1.25x speed or more advanced selection in general

### 2/5 — Important feature missing

*2018-01-18*

In the app the burst images are showing as a loop but it exports only a single run through, resulting most likely in a very short video. You should be able to determine video length on export

### 1/5 — Gif stretches! Don't use!

*2017-08-20, version 1.3.1*

This would easily be a 5 star, but every time I export a gif, as soon as it saves it crops one frame of my photo. The gif stretches because of this and it makes my gifs un-usable. This needs to be fixed otherwise this app is pretty much pointless.

### 5/5 — Just what you want

*2017-06-22*

Simple, fast, function. No frills and no fuss

### 5/5 — Really Useful app

*2017-06-19*

It's reeally simple but it's easy to understand and for only 99. I wish it could have an option for at least to crop and to choose which pictures will be on the gif, but the app it's ok for what I need it.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Only works with actual burst photos

*2025-08-26, version 1.3.1*

Be advised: Wanted to use this to combine a burst from a DSLR into a video but this only works with actual iPhone bursts

### 1/5 — Totale Enttäuschung

*2023-12-30*

### 1/5 — Beware

*2021-07-24*

This app only works with burst photos. It doesn’t recognise your full album or selected photos….complete waste of money and poorly explained.

### 1/5 — App is garbage

*2020-12-20, version 1.3.1*

Immediately crashes upon selecting a photo burst. Everything up to date and tried rebooting. Waste of money.

### 1/5 — Only showed a few burst choices

*2020-01-13, version 1.3.1*

I can’t give this app much because it didn’t allow me to select the burst I wanted to animate, just 4 short ones from last year.
It wouldn’t allow me to choose the 36-shot burst I wanted to animate.

### 1/5 — Fails to export large burst sequences

*2019-01-03*

Export to HD video fails when trying to export 400frame burst. Only get a couple frames.

Would give 0 stars as app fails to execute advertised function

### 1/5 — Only burst photos work...

*2018-11-13*

I wanted to use this app to make picture sequences that I took with my camera and uploaded to my phone. I usually have to go through an editing program to make looped picture sequences, looks like I’ll still be doing it the hard way. 99¢ down the drain...

### 1/5 — Not a good app

*2018-10-01, version 1.3.1*

Only allows you to export Burst Photos. If you already saved your burst photos into individual photos this app will NOT work. Do NOT recommend it.

### 1/5 — Poor functionality

*2018-07-09*

I saw that this was an app to turn bursts of photos into videos. I assumed that because it was paid for it would be better than the free apps which are similar. I had taken a burst of photos on my camera and uploaded them to my iPhone to turn into a little video clip but this app does not recognise anything but iPhone camera bursts. There is no option, as with the free app I have now used, to go into camera roll and select the photos you want to turn into a video. Super disappointing that this app didn’t work for me and i paid for something I will never use. Maybe something for the developers to look into to make this app better
