## What is BURSU Connection Manager?

BURSU Connection Manager is a full remote-access client for iPhone and iPad. SSH, Telnet, RDP, VNC, SFTP and FTP — one app, one catalogue of connections, one master password.

ONE CATALOGUE, EVERY DEVICE
Your connections live in BURSUcloud and follow you between iPhone, iPad, Windows, Linux and macOS. Add a server on the desktop and it is already on your phone. Rearrange your folders on the phone and the desktop follows.

SECRETS THAT STAY YOURS
Passwords and private keys are encrypted on the device with your master password before anything is sent. The server stores ciphertext and never receives the key, so nobody — including us — can read your credentials. Unlock with Face ID or Touch ID.

A TERMINAL THAT BEHAVES
Hardware keyboard support, copy and paste, text selection, and the control keys a shell actually needs. Sessions keep running while you switch apps.

REMOTE DESKTOP
RDP and VNC, with either a trackpad pointer or direct touch where a tap lands exactly under your finger. Pinch to zoom, drag to pan, and a picture that follows rotation.

FILES
Browse SFTP and FTP servers and move files in both directions — single files or whole folders, with progress you can watch.

### 1.2.8 — 2026-09-03

• tmux for SSH: a session keeps running on the server and, after a lost connection, you return to the same screen. Turn it on with a checkbox in the connection editor and give the session a name.
• WinRM connections now list with their own icon and colour, can be created here for the desktop client, and say plainly that they open on the desktop.
• A SOCKS5 proxy or a tunnel set up on the desktop is no longer lost when the connection is renamed or saved from the phone.
• SSH and WinRM have different icons.

SSH keys now live in the credential store: save a key once and point any connection at it.
Every SSH connection says how it logs in — password or private key — and asks for that one only.
Deleting a stored key, passphrase or password is a button with a confirmation and an undo, and works even when the vault is locked.
The credential picker shows your folder tree and keeps the folds you set elsewhere.
The password box has a reveal button, and is read-only when a saved credential supplies the login.
