I took my friend for dinner last Saturday 3/28/26 in Shrewsbury, MA. We were celebrating her birthday. The food was delicious and the service was amazing! Our waitress’s name was Kelly. Sorry for not knowing her last name. She was very attentive and always came back to check on us. I’m a big fan of Burton’s Grill and am always coming back for more. I hope Kelly will be my server next time. Thank you very much! We were greeted at the door with a smile and seated promptly even though we had no reservation. We had the GF calamari to start. For dinner we had the crab cakes and the scallops and corn risotto special. All of it was excellent! This evening when I requested a cup of coffee, I got espresso in a small espresso cup. I was told that Burton’s no longer serves regular coffee, only espresso. I was also told that tea cups are the larger coffee-like cups, so I should ask to have my espresso in a large tea cup for future visits. It has always been my first choice! I work at the shopping area & subscribe to points program. For the first time tonight, I was told I could not get my shopping center discount & use my rewards. The bartender did not even bother to get my telephone number for rewards/ credit from my current check.
