You are bombarded with the ads throughout the game. The only way around this is to turn off Wi-Fi when playing. But you can’t earn double coins unless you watch ads, which is a fair trade off. There doesn’t seem to be a reason for the coins either. It’s great to accumulate them, but you can’t spend them on anything.
