I’ve downloaded the app today and found it really useful, however I turned on live tracking to see where my expected bus was and I can’t find anyway to stop the tracking once I’ve managed to get on the bus? Just worried about it draining my phone battery and the constant notification about buses I have no interest in catching.

**Developer response:** Hi, Thank you for using my app and I am glad you find it really useful. The live tracking will just track 1 bus. Once that bus has gone, live tracking will stop about a minute later although it might take 5 minutes for the bus to disappear from the lock screen. It will not drain any battery during this time, it's just how iOS works. I hope that answers your question, and i'd love to know how I can win those extra 2 stars from you?

Just downloaded the app and loving it, I am not sure how you get the tracking data but if it’s BODS then can you please add the VehicleRef to arriva so I can see if it will be a double or single decker?

tracking works perfectly and developer is kind and listens to feedback with amazing interaction, definitely worth getting over the tradition arriva app!

The present program shows only the existing bus that goes to Southport, unlike the old version which showed all the bus positions.
How do I get a print out of all the routes in Southport?

Rubbish site, unreliable, can’t change from favourite stop to return bus..needs simplifying for older people who use bus more...

**Developer response:** There are in fact 3 ways you can change to your return bus. You can edit your bus stop through the settings page, you can press the + button and add a second bus stop as your return one or you can press the nearby stops button at the top to select a stop nearby to you. I guess if you think the app is so bad that it is only worth 1* then I assume you have deleted it and won't continue to use it.

You can’t use the app properly as all it does is go to the page of trying to sell you the premium page for a better service. you could have a better service if you remove this page and let people choose for themselves instead of showing it in their faces all the time which which makes it hard to use the app when you go onto other routes if you’ve already put a favourite route in you can’t choose another route most people catch more than one bus you’re as bad as move it the only thing with yours is it let you know if the bus is late and normally yours times are on time with the buses

Try free for one week.I have had this app for over a year, now it doesn’t work.  Being a developer I refine apps, sometime for free, get real why pay when the free does not work.

This app is a life saver when I need to be on time. If I didn’t find this app I would be late on many occasions.
The app developer is very nice letting us all have 1 bus stop for free even tho they could of charged us for it.

I have been using this app for a couple of years now. I use it to get me to the nicer parts of the West Midlands where I go for my daily walks.
It is so useful having the times of the bus on hand wherever you are.

All stops and times shown with ALL services stopping at each bus stop - and live service information! Remarkable - pity the service provider can’t get its act together.

I like this app a lot, it's nice to be able to see the bus live. It's missing some stuff though, like showing a line in the map to see the route of a specific bus line and all the stops it goes through. That would help planning trips and with perception on how close the bus is and how many stops left it has before reaching mine. 

EDIT: thank you to the developer for adding support for megabus in such a timely manner!!

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review and thanks for using my app. The original idea of this app, and what makes it unique, is it's designed for people that already know where they are going (Daily commute to work etc..) and just need to know where the bus is. Every other bus app is tailored to people that need to find a route. For this reason it's now not possible to add the extra details you've requested. However, I have spent the last week adding support for Megabus/Citylink for you (just update to the latest version). I hope this is good enough to win over that 5th star. Thank you again.

So glad I found this app. I live in a village with an hourly daytime bus service. Frequently buses do not turn up or run late. Now I never head out before checking I’ll be able to get to town and, more importantly, home again. Thank you!!!

This app knocks Arriva’s own “in house” right out the park! It’s so intuitive and easy to use and more importantly it’s accurate! The bus I am tracking is shown on the map as it gets to my nominated “favourite” bus stop and only 1 week in I’ve deleted Arriva’s and Go North East apps as Bus Savvy is so much better! We’ll worth just under £20 for all regular users of local bus services!!!

I have been driving for 60 years and have recently had to surrender my licence.  Never having used buses I was completely lost, this app is amazing, I know when the bus is coming or if it has been cancelled, I have found bus routes I never knew existed.
If you travel by bus this is a must.  A brilliant app.

Using the Arriva bus app, version 3.2.2.9, I have noticed that it tracks my location very accurately but not the bus’s.  I am using an Apple iPhone.   Obviously, I do not know how it tracks the bus, but if it would help, would it not be quite inexpensive to equip every bus with an iPhone ?

Yesterday, 2023-02-24, I installed Bus Savvy hoping that it would be better able to track buses. However, apparently not. Once again it is capable of tracking my iPhone perfectly well. 

I subscribed to have more than one favourite bus stop. Clicking on subscription says “You are currently subscribed”. This morning I opened it on my iPad.

My iPad is apparently unaware of my subscription. In my experience subscription apps allow a subscription to be used on both devices. It is aware of my original bus stop but not the second one. 

Perhaps this is something to do with the 7 Free Days ?

Given that the app does not appear to know exactly where buses are, I am surprised that it seems able to reasonably estimate expected arrival times. The only time I have checked so far was about a minute early, which is not bad.

Don’t waste your time with the Arriva app this is a thousand times better. You can see exactly where your bus is.
