NEW IN 3.0: KONDAKITA, YOUR TRAVEL COMPANION Bus Stop now understands plain language. Ask Kondakita for a bus the way you would ask a person at the stage, and it does the rest — finds the trip, reads back the fare and the seats left, takes you through Mobile Money, and puts the ticket in your Wallet. • Ask, don't fill in forms. "I need a bus from Lyantonde to Kikagati." That is the whole search. • Pay in the conversation. Kondakita checks your Mobile Money number, reads back the registered account name, and shows you exactly what you will be charged. Nothing is taken until you tap Confirm. • Know where your bus is. Ask any time and Kondakita checks your ticket. • Find food and stops on the way. Real places along your actual route. • In your language. Kondakita opens in Luganda, Runyankore, Acholi, Ateso, Kinyarwanda, Kiswahili and English. Kondakita only ever tells you what it can look up. If there is no bus on your route, it says so — it will never invent a trip, a fare or a name. The assistant now talks to our own servers instead of connecting out from your phone. That removes the step that was stopping it from answering for some travellers, and means fewer interruptions when your connection is weak. If something does go wrong, the message carries a short code so our support team can tell exactly what happened from a single screenshot. Safe travels. ### 3.0.1 — 2026-08-14 Kondakita is back. A problem with the security check that proves the app is genuine was stopping Kondakita from answering. Everything else — booking, payments, tickets — kept working, which is why the assistant looked broken on its own. That check is now fixed, and if it is ever briefly unavailable Kondakita retries instead of giving up. When something does go wrong, the message now carries a short code so our support team can tell exactly what happened from a single screenshot. Ask for a bus in plain words and Kondakita finds it, tells you when it leaves and what a seat costs, then books and pays for your ticket by Mobile Money without leaving the chat. Before any money moves, Kondakita shows you the Mobile Money account name it found, the number and the amount, and waits for you to tap Confirm. Ask where your bus has reached. Kondakita speaks Luganda, Runyankore, Acholi, Ateso, Kinyarwanda, Kiswahili, and English. ### 2.1.1 — 2026-08-10 • You can now leave the payment screen while a mobile money request is still waiting for your approval, and carry on browsing trips and tickets. Your payment finishes on its own and the tickets appear in your Wallet. • If you try to pay for another trip while an earlier request is still unapproved on your phone, Bus Stop now warns you first, so you are not charged twice for the same journey. • Fixed a problem where the payment screen could appear to freeze when you tried to go back. ### 2.1.0 — 2026-08-06 Know how long the trip takes, and when you will get there. - Trip search and the trip you select now show the scheduled journey time, so you can see how long the ride is before you pay. - Your ticket shows the estimated arrival time, and counts down to it once the bus is on the road.
