It keeps kicking me out. I tried deleting it and download the app again and it still kicking me out. ### 2/5 — straight up lies *2026-02-13* sometimes it’s accurate, sometimes it just straight up lies. unreliable but better than google maps unfortunately. ### 1/5 — Can’t decide which is worse *2025-09-05* Can’t decide which sucks worse this app or OC transpo- I have lots of time to write because as usual you wait 10-15 minutes for a bus this app says is coming and then it disappears into the ether and you are then presented with a 30-35 minute wait for the next supposed bus. However after OCTranspo recent changes my Bus Buddy ‘Trip Planner’ does not work. I have deleted 3 times and reloaded…still not working on my iPhone. WHY? And WHY is help so hard to receive help?Therefore much lower rating than I would like to give. Forget Facebook and Apple. In addition, the trip planner now opens Apple Maps to plan the trip. ### 6.0 — 2025-03-18 OCTranspo has introduced a new data system which changes how BusBuddy acquires the real time arrival information. In the past, the data was provided by servers owned and operated by OCTranspo. Now, BusBuddy will use its own server to provide this information. With this change, cancelled and added trips will be more accurately shown. The bus ID (4 digit number) will be shown when that information is available. The type of bus (short, double decker or long) will also return to the app. Electric buses will be noted in Green. As a result of this change, you will need to re-create your favourite stops and routes. This was necessary the internal stop numbers and routes have changed.
