I want to be able to see all my accounts at once, not scroll through them. Also bill pay is SO MUCH worse!!! It takes twice as long to pay a bill and is so hard to navigate versus the old app. ### 3/5 — My review *2026-08-22, version 4.1.260600* I had a hard time finding out how to use it… doing better now ### 2/5 — Bring back the old app!! *2026-08-17, version 4.1.260600* I’ve been a busy customer for well over 25 years, a mobile customer for I don’t know how long. This update was almost a backward step instead of forward. It’s harder to navigate and you can no longer receive detailed text messages regarding transactions on your account. You get vague messages with transaction ID’s. I used to be able to get a text message for every transaction with the detail of who and how much via text and now all I get are random consolidated messages. Not helpful at all. I also used to be able to put a memo or tag on transactions so that I could identify them when looking back and while it does, let me do it at the transfer level, it is very, very difficult to find if at all once the transaction has happened - that is absolutely no good. I hope someone’s actually reviewing these reviews. Bring the old app back.’n ### 2/5 — Nope *2026-08-12, version 4.1.260600* New is not always better. This app is not good. Nothing but issues since “updated”. Charges stay in pending status for 4-5 days. I’ve gotten no replies to messages. ### 3/5 — Other Busey App Was Better *2026-08-11, version 4.1.260600* This app is fine and gets the job done. But it’s clunky and doesn’t feel smooth. You cannot rearrange the home screen. Certain screens you cannot back out of and have to hit the dashboard button and start over. Other times it forces you to the dashboard and starts you over. You cannot search a transaction by dollar amount, this is a HUGE oversight and has been a major flaw in all their apps since inception. It’s a bank and you cannot search by dollar amount? Boo. Pending debits don’t seem to reflect in “Amount Available” or in the home screen recent transactions until after it posts. On iPhone, it does not show the red notification number on the app icon. It works. Could be much better. All that said, Busey is a great bank and I have been doing business with them personally and commercially for decades. ### 3/5 — Okay *2026-08-07, version 4.1.260600* New app is decent so far. Only issue is prior app you were able to adjust the account displays to total cash. Also, linked accounts became disconnected and had issues reconnecting with plaid. Overall, I like Busey as a regional bank. However, their interest rates on accounts are terrible and if they get any bigger I will probably move my accounts to a different financial institution. ### 3/5 — Withdraw fee *2026-08-07, version 4.1.260600* Stop taking my money from me after I take some out. The withdrawal fee has to go down. It’s my money and I can do what I please with it. You guys are the only bank system that basically robs their customers with the withdraw fee. Trust me. I ask around and it’s annoying. My honest opinion. The Zelle limits at Busey are low for security reasons and if you send money you’re asked 2x to confirm the recipient but then there’s no support for one of the most basic security features. ### 2/5 — Missing feature? *2026-08-02, version 4.1.260600* I no longer see a place where you can enter notes about transactions. This was very useful. I hope this is going to be brought back. Also when I tap on the provide feedback link, the screen just goes dim and takes you to a page to provide feedback but you can’t actually do so🤷‍♂️ it’s also annoying that you can’t zoom in on check images. They dropped the option to have a text sent to you when a purchase came directly from your checking account. Now they only have the option to receive a text when purchases come from your debit card. Takes a long time to log in and many times says, “An Unknown Error has Occurred” and you have to put in your password credentials. Also, the BillPay functionality takes you to another site that lists all of your payees first, then it lists your last payment stream. That is backwards to me. This is in addition to all the other comments about this new app. Not sure who did the UE acceptance on this, but it wasn’t very thorough. ### 1/5 — Should’ve kept the old app *2026-08-16, version 4.1.260600* Very bad user interface. I don’t know why they decided to change from the old one. Can’t even list basic features like owner of the account, co-owner, etc. The old app also showed pending transactions and now you have to click through many things just to find them. ### 1/5 — Transaction Label *2026-08-12, version 4.1.260600* The ability to label transactions is no longer available. The absence of this feature leaves no means of creating a human readable version explanation of the cryptic transaction names. The process of transferring money between accounts now requires more steps. Many times I have noticed that transactions that showed previously disappear with no explanation. I have no trust that my balance is correct given that I can’t trust that it’s showing everything correctly. The transactions do reappear at some point. Also figured out the basics of bill payments Change at my age finds bumps in the process learning is possible I’ve come to realize.
