## What is Bushido Bear?

What's more dangerous than an angry bear? Or a sword-wielding ninja? An angry, sword-wielding ninja bear of course!

Bushido Bear is an original action game by Spry Fox, the developer of the award-winning games Triple Town, Steambirds & Alphabear. Defend your forest against endless waves of evil demons by hacking and slashing through your foes with two giant swords! Slice and dice the invaders for as long as you can survive.

As you play Bushido Bear, you'll unlock new ninja characters and upgrade your existing characters, which will change the way you play the game. Lone Cub is slow but can slip past enemies thanks to his tiny size. Smoky Bear can teleport anywhere instantly. Neo Bear slows down time as he plans his attacks. You'll want to collect and experience all the bears!

- A new stage, Winter Wood, has been added! Angry yetis, deadly snowmen and a slippery Storm Fox await you! (By the way, that Fox might be immune to your swords... you're gonna have to find some other way to defeat him!)
- Three new swords have been added to the customization section.
- Reduced the quest # required to unlock new stages across the board.
- Made it possible to share your highest wave accomplishments.
- Added the final score to the end game screen, next to coins earned.
- Decrease the size of Barbearian's hitbox, since many people complained he was too hard to play.
- Increased the size of Golem Bear's swords.
- Other minor balance changes and bugfixes.

### 01.02.01 — 2016-06-28

Tons of good changes in here!
- We've added a new category of customization: swords! You can now collect cool new swords and assign them to any of your bears. (Each bear continues to have its own unique default sword that no other bear can use.)
- We've added a +25% coin bonus that you unlock every time you beat a quest! It lasts for 10 games, or the start of the next quest, whichever comes first.
- The shrine is now a bit more generous, on average, with bear token drops.
- Skill upgrades in the dojo have been significantly reduced in cost! (mainly at the higher levels)
- The $1 token package in the store has been replaced with an especially generous $10 package
- Difficulty of stages has been increased past wave 40
- We identified some bad translations and improved them
- Various bugfixes

Big update for you!

- We've added support for cloud saving. It will work automatically as long as you are signed into Game Center. If you want to use this to sync your progress across multiple iOS devices, please make sure you're running the latest version of Bushido Bear on both devices and signed into the same Game Center account on both devices. (We know we're going to get at least 10 emails from people complaining sync doesn't work who haven't done this. *grin*)

- By popular request, we've added the option to purchase bear and customization tokens to the store. As always, totally optional.

- We've added two new bears, Golem and Barbearian. We also significantly lowered the token cost of all the other bears.

- Many, many little bugfixes.

### 01.01.00 — 2016-05-19

- Stage 4, aka the Crystal Cave, has been added to the game! Fight crafty, minion-summoning Wizards, avoid being electrocuted by dangerous Sparkers, and try to defeat the incredibly deadly Crystal Snake! This stage is definitely the most challenging, devious stage we've designed so far.

- We've reduced the number of quests needed to unlock Kraken's Bog from 10 to 8.

- Fixed numerous bugs, including a bug that could cause the game to get stuck during the loading sequence if Game Center failed to complete signing.

- Made quests slightly more rewarding, on average.
