### 2/5 — Buggy profiles

*2025-11-13, version 258*

The profile system is so buggy as to make the app almost unusable. Selecting and creating profiles gives clearly incorrect results.

### 2/5 — Synchronisation décevante

*2025-10-27, version 258*

*2024-01-12, version 213*

Aucune mise a jour pour les bugs
Problème avec la temperature en degre C

### 3/5 — Need more rounds

*2023-08-11, version 213*

Here in Michigan we mostly use 350 legend and 450 bushmaster rounds. Can you please add those rounds to the Ballistics library? Please and thank you.

### 1/5 — Scope not suppported

*2023-07-02, version 186*

Recently bought a Bushnell Rimfire 3-9x40mm Dropzone 22 Reticle Second Focal Plane model RR3940BS4 scope. I realize it’s an older scope but it has not been discontinued. I down loaded the app in spite of the 2 star review. I should have paid attention to the reviews. The scope I purchased is not supported.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2023-04-09, version 186*

This app doesn’t even have their rimfire 3-9 40mm. It also has a small library of ammunition.

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2023-03-01, version 186*

Dont tap on the wrong spot. Your keyboard will pop up and you wont be able to make it go away unless you completely close the app and start all over again. Very frustrating.

### 1/5 — Very Disappointed

*2023-02-21, version 186*

This app is supposed to go with one of their most expensive range finders (1800 Nitro) and is difficult to operate. Inputting bullet information is difficult and the preset ammunition is lacking very common calibers. There is no 300 win Mag, No 7mm Rem Mag, No .270 Winchester and No 6.5 Creedmoor. When you input your ammunition’s information it does not save it all the time and you can’t put in your own bullet drop, from what I can find. You can upgrade the app by paying money but I don’t think it will fix these issues if I do.
This could be a much better product if there was a little more effort into making this user friendly.

### 2/5 — Very limited bullet choices (at least in what I need)

*2022-12-18, version 186*

I wanted a drop calculator and BDC reticle scope for a big ol 450 bushmaster since it drops so quickly. This looked promising but has no bullet weights or brands that even suit .452” bullets. There is one that’s close and that’s for 300 grain… and it’s some brand I’ve never heard of. Could assume it’ll be comparable to a Hornady bullet… but having this app and buying a bushnell scope to go with it is supposed to do away with the assuming isn’t it? Please add more bullet manufacturers and weights

### 1/5 — Might work if you have the right model

*2022-11-25, version 186*

Bought scope unaware of the ballistics app.
Box insisted that app was the bee’s knees.
Installed app.
App doesn’t have the scope model that I purchased.

Why did Bushnell ask me to install an app that does not apply to my scope?

How am I to super sniper squirrels with my.22, at 300 yards, with a twenty mph crosswind without this application? Weak.

### 1/5 — Not as great or “free” as Bushnell led us to believe

*2022-11-17, version 186*

This app would be a great resource if you were able to use it beyond the basics. Instead of paying like 3-10bucks to use this app, in order to utilizing and customize everything, you have to buy their range finders, which is $200-400. It’s all has only the caliber/projectile specs and does not allow you pick the specific cartridge, in which a standard .223 62gr bullet is auto programmed for a 1-12in barrel twist, but I have a 1-8in twist, but you can’t adjust it at all. Also, is wont give you the subtension information on just the reactively for me to do the math on either app or Bushnell website, which is very very stupid….. don’t buy their scopes unless you plan use their range finder and then you actually use the app…. Very disappointing with this company and this app.

### 1/5 — Too old; not updated

*2022-09-01, version 186*

The app is too old to be useful. It doesn’t have all versions of their scopes and is missing a ton of ammo options for rimfire. Really wanted to like this app.

### 1/5 — This app is just a tool to sell a rangefinder

*2022-05-31, version 186*

Would be a good app if it was useable, but if you dont own their rangefinder it wont let change any of your rifle specs so you can get accurate dope. I like the idea of holdover dots and on my sig scope they are usefull, but on this one not so much without the data to use it successfully. Plus the app giving you corrections in moa when when you have mrad turrets is a joke.

### 1/5 — Disappointing

*2022-04-25, version 186*

The functionality of this app is very poor. The reticle and range card numbers are inaccurate. The MOA adjustments remain the same between 200 and 500 yards. The reticle holds are inaccurate between the zero and second hold. App constantly freezes. Great concept…poor execution.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2022-04-13, version 186*

Does nothing

### 1/5 — Pellets and Slugs for Airguns

*2022-03-13, version 186*

Can you please add to your database profiles and bullet library Pellets and Slugs for Airguns, including the respective drag model.

### 2/5 — Poor ballistic accuracy

*2022-01-03, version 186*

My number one problem is the missing 0.380 (9mm) caliber.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Needs an update on settings for R5 rangefinder

*2026-01-03, version 258*

The app tells me i have a “Bone collector” rangefinder and therefore cannot use the applied ballistics on my R5 rangefinder accurately due to the fact i cannot set my scope hight to get an accurate setting input.

### 1/5 — Terrible User Experience

*2025-10-23, version 258*

Almost impossible to load more than one ballistic profile at a time.

Sometimes doesnt save data when you edit, sometimes it does.

Pretty terrible app, making the ballistic reading on your rangefinder unusable.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2025-09-01, version 258*

Don’t waste too much of your time with this app. There isn’t a way to add new profiles and it’s very glitchy. Bushnell you have a lot of work to do.

### 1/5 — No customisation options on Bone Collector Range finder

*2025-05-30, version 258*

Bought a Bone Collector range finder, however no one tells you that your customisation options will be limited. Cannot change barrel Twist Rate, Scope height, Bullet length and more metrics that is important to ballistic calculation. Really disappointed.

### 1/5 — Utter garbage

*2024-12-28, version 258*

Downloaded for 22 rimfire dope. Very clunky to use. Plenty of free ballistic calculators out there that are easier to use and offer more details. Save your time and pass on this one.

### 1/5 — Freaking waste of time.

*2024-09-19, version 255*

Don’t buy bushnell range finders! The app is total ridiculous hard to work. It is a waste of time. Stay away from this third rate company.

### 1/5 — Need more calibers

*2024-09-12, version 255*

Very limited on caliber selection the 3 main rifle calibers I shoot aren't listed . Very surprised and disappointed

### 1/5 — Hard to use

*2024-05-18, version 213*

Hard app to use. Might be my phone (12 pro) but the keypad gets stuck open, I can’t change anything about my rifle such as barrel length twist rate etc. wish they didn’t use it as a plug for their range finder

### 1/5 — Terrible App

*2023-12-29, version 213*

I wasted a lot of time trying to get this app to work. It is just frustrating as I can only modify basic items. I can not create a profile it just acts like the variable fields are a picture as there are virtually no active fields that I can adjust. I don’t know why this is even in the App Store. If Bushnell products are anything like this app, then stay far far away.

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2023-07-13, version 210*

This app is close to useless. I have the Nikon app and it’s so easy to use. Bushnell app is horrible. Can’t put in the information needed easily, and constantly asking me to upgrade for a fee!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2025-02-21, version 258*

I haven’t used this in the field yet, but I think it’s going to be outstanding. I’ve got my default 5.56 M193 load plugged in, and with a 50 yard zero, my first hold point down says 245 yards, which sounds exactly correct according to my old ballistic calculations. But now I don’t need to spend time beforehand making range cards for different variables and guessing what the humidity, exact elevation or barometric pressure is because the app has all current conditions taken into account. If you know your approximate muzzle velocity, and bullet information like ballistic coefficient you can edit the profile to match everything specific to your ammunition and rifle.

### 5/5 — Pretty Please could you add a air gun profile for .177/.22cal

*2023-11-21, version 213*

Good app works well for fire arms with the Bushnell range finder but currently dose not work with air rifles if that profile was added to the app it would make this app and range finder combo ultimate:)

### 5/5 — Know your calibers!!!

*2022-09-24, version 186*

First let me say, many “consumer names” for calibers are confusing and so you need to understand what your ACTUALLY shooting. Ie. 308 and 30-06 ARE THE SAME CALIBERS! Yes, a 30-06 is actually a larger original 308, and actually 308 is a smaller version of the 30-06 but you need to understand they have any calibers that aren’t the name consumers expect!

Next, if you have Display on Zoom or a larger text set, some features disappear. This is because their developers are idiots and only have 20-20 vision, us old folks, well go back to default display, set it up and THEN go to Zoom and/or larger text. (Note to developers, hand your app to your grand father or father if his over 60! Test because this is an EASY FIX!)

Next, IF YOU UPGRADE you lose your presets, this might be a technical fix or maybe an Apple limitation! So copy or screenshot (power button and volume up button) BEFORE you upgrade to Sport or Elite.

This app and range finder works and thank gosh I work in tech because I can 100% guarantee you no one else would have figure it out! The devs don’t work with consumers and Bushnell product manager is an idiot for not maintaining the UI for their consumers vs the dev military focus (we’re not all 25 y/o snipers with 20/20 vision.)

5 stars, only in HOPES there’s updates to fix the UI to work with the latest iOS and iPhones!!

### 5/5 — Gets you on Target

*2020-06-08, version 185*

Wish it had a longer distance. The interface is excellent, easy to use, input information. If this would allow longer ranges of use, I would pay for it due to the ease of use. A little tricky changing profiles, but once you figure it out-works well.

After calculating velocity on chrono, input info, I had first round hits at 865 yards. Had to walk it in at over that range.

### 5/5 — Cannot download

*2020-04-26, version 179*

Why is it that I cannot open/download app when when I already have it installed on my iPad?

### 4/5 — Add Bushnell scope

*2021-03-10, version 186*

Please add the Bushnell DMR IIi 3.5x21

### 4/5 — Need to add more calibers

*2019-12-08, version 170*

I’d like to see some 7mm rem mag bullets added to your list soon.

I use the Winchester super x 150 grain.

### 4/5 — Useful ap

*2019-03-07, version 24*

Does what it is supposed to do with no ads or bother. Easily and quickly calculates solutions. Plots ranges to reticles for scopes in Bushnells current catalog.

Update - crashes after using for a short while. Only way I have found to recover is delete ap and data then reload from ap store.

### 4/5 — Range limit

*2018-08-06, version 24*

Love the app and works 100%. Just needs to range up to 1500m for a perfect 5 stars

### 4/5 — update

*2018-03-15, version 22*

I retract my first review..I found the reticle setting.
