Since whatever update they did, Face ID no longer works. I’ve never been able to do mobile deposit because no matter how I take it, where I take, use the flash, natural light, it can’t read the amount on the checks because it winds up so blurry. It’s an extremely simple and kind of boring app.

The regular dollar bank app is great. The business app does not work on a regular basis. Half the time I cannot deposit checks.

1) Have had trouble depositing checks via the mobile app. Scan the check but it is refused. I email support and I’m told the app doesn’t like it because there are asterisks used in the printing process. 🙄 2) Face ID fails repeatedly. When you email support they give you the spew to delete and reinstall, restart your phone. What a waste of time! It does nothing. 3) information available via the app is minimal at best. You can see the amount of a debit but not to whom each one is for. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Good grief. You would think a bank looking to do business with business owners would make as much information available as possible

I was looking forward to saving some of my valuable time by skipping a trip to the bank and using the mobile deposit feature on this app, but as every single review will point out, this app is horrendous and it’s clear that Dollar Bank wants their business customers to switch to banks that embrace technology.

It would be quicker to walk to the bank and deposit a check than try to deposit one on this app. Can change the lighting, make a tripod for your phone and it will still give you an error message. Typically takes 12-20 times before I can deposit 1 check.

For anyone that has been struggling with the deposit not taking and accepting the pictures, I’ve tried deleting the app reinstalling it and that didn’t fix it, but turning the phone off completely and then turning it back on again, seem to clear the app. I have no idea why they haven’t fixed this in all these years, but that’s only way to clear out the issues that I found and then the app will allow you to do the deposit.
