## What is BusinessDesk?

BusinessDesk is a private business command center for small business owners, freelancers, and contractors.

Track cash, invoices, receipts, payroll prep, clients, projects, estimates, agreements, compliance tasks, and file-sharing privacy checks from one local workspace. The app helps turn messy daily work into clear next actions, exportable packets, and ready-to-send follow-up messages.

Use BusinessDesk to:
- see cash, overdue invoices, receipt gaps, payroll readiness, and client risk
- create invoices, estimates, ledger records, documents, workers, and receipt records
- import bank CSV rows and reconcile them into local records
- prepare payroll and contractor handoff packets for your provider or accountant
- review client balances, project profitability, and estimate pipeline
- spot file metadata and sharing risks before sending files
- export PDFs, HTML reports, and CSVs for bookkeeping, tax prep, clients, and owner review

BusinessDesk runs on your device. There is no account sign-in, ad tracking, or BusinessDesk cloud server. Your business data stays in the local app storage unless you choose to export or share a file.

BusinessDesk is an organization and preparation tool. It does not file taxes, move payroll funds, provide legal or tax advice, verify identity, or replace a licensed accountant, attorney, payroll provider, or bank.
