It is genuinely painful to use. As a small business owner you are constantly on the move and require access to the accounts to make banking transactions on the go. With the current BUSINESS ONLINE app it’s just awful. The user interface is terrible. Please take some inspiration from Barclays banking application which is miles ahead. Unfortunately moving to another bank entirely purely because the ecosystem created for the business banking customer is shockingly inefficient. P.S - It’s been over 6 months since account opening and still no physical Debit card or cheque book despite me chasing and chasing. Just not worth the hassle or time anymore. Avoid at all costs. ### 1/5 — Not functional *2023-05-23* The app is Outdated and useless. Other smaller banks have way better apps!!! ### 1/5 — So basic, it's ridiculous *2023-03-04, version 4.0* This app is so basic, it is pathetic to be honest. It cannot save credentials and allow access by passcode or face ID afterwards. You have to login from scratch all the time. And inside the app you cannot do much as well. Both the website and app are very poorly designed and difficult to navigate. Made us move from the old (cumbersome) app to this one, more cumbersome complicated and lacking features.. My 11 year old can write better code for school project. The no 1 requirement for any app is to actually understand what users do and need it for. The developers of this one haven’t a clue. They just sat among themselves and came us with this one.. Is this kind of development helping businesses or just spending more money on your developers partners I can’t express how much I’m disappointed and frustrated from this bank at least allow us to use the old app it was way better and faster than this ### 1/5 — Same NBD issues *2022-04-19* They launch a new app, they deactivate the old app but this app does not load or work. I’m not surprised, everything NBD does makes things worse. ### 1/5 — Does not work *2022-03-31* After login, the app does not load ### 1/5 — Slow and not working properly *2022-03-17, version 3.6* Very slow on approving transactions also the beneficiary list when wishing to transfer only shows the first 8 beneficiaries on your list. So if you want to find a name beyond the letter A you can’t use the app, what’s the point in having a banking app when you can’t access all your beneficiaries to make transfers too? Not impressed at all. Waste of time, SmartBusiness was much better, no idea why the bank changed something that was working perfectly fine. Sort out the speed and allow access to all beneficiaries then it will be good. ## Most praised reviews (1 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Need update *2024-02-18* It would be a great idea if we can login using face recognition, it’s very stressful to enter login details every single time. And also it doesn’t allow you to paste as well, also the transfer option doesn’t work on this app. Emirates seems to be one of the best bank but this business banking app is not what is expected from almighty Emirates NBD.
