## What is BusJam Nap?

**BusJam** is a short-rest companion for the bus or subway ride to and from work — for the minutes you want to truly switch off, not just zone out.

The commute window is awkward: too short to really sleep, too tired to stay alert. BusJam shapes the listening into an **Alpha → Theta → Alpha** binaural-beat arc that helps you drop into a rest state quickly, hold a deeper trough in the middle, and surface gently before your stop.

### Why Alpha → Theta → Alpha

- **Alpha (around 10 Hz, opening segment)** — release tension and settle into a meditative calm.
- **Theta (around 6 Hz, middle segment)** — slip into a deeper rest-and-recovery window within a few minutes.
- **Alpha (around 10 Hz, closing segment)** — wake up gently with a softer return to alertness.

The default 20-minute session is 5 min alpha / 10 min theta / 5 min alpha. Adjust the total length minute-by-minute and the same 1 : 2 : 1 ratio rescales automatically.
