And lately bus minder hasn’t been updating at all so I don’t know where my daughter is. ### 2/5 — Double books randomly *2024-08-11* Be careful as this app randomly double books trips and is hard to keep track if you have several kids. Been a problem for a while and makes booking trips a nightmare with the poor calendar and trip layout. ### 2/5 — Incorrect route *2023-04-25* I used to rely on this app very heavily. It has become very unreliable. The routes are all over the place and the bus isn’t even on the right street. When you select a route It gives the map of Australia. Wastes 5 seconds every time pinching and zooming 2) Create an estimated time remaining for pickup in the parent view. Even if it changes in response to last minute absence, that’s fine. Better than playing the ‘bus roulette’ guessing game every day. Saves standing in the cold/rain/heat for 10-20 minutes waiting. Also brings peace of mind for parents of older children who are starting to walk to/from bus on their own to know when to expect them or look out for them. I can’t comment on the other functions like notifications but so far so good. ### 4/5 — Very handy app *2018-09-19* The route tracking and tap on and tap off notifications are great. I have come across one bug - when a general message notification is received (such as a message letting parents know that the bus route is almost full), there is no way to view the entire message in the app, you can only view the message in the notification window and once it is read, you cannot get it back. Also, if the notification message is quite long, it is truncated by the notification window and you cannot read the entire message. ### 4/5 — Fantastic App needing a couple of tweaks *2017-03-25* We have 2 kids in the junior school who catch the bus everyday to (& sometimes from) school so we LOVE this app for all the obvious reasons of knowing the kids have arrived safely in the morning & when they'll be at the home bus stop in the afternoon.
