## What is Buy or Goodbye?

Buy or Goodbye turns the values you care about into a fast, clear shopping decision. Scan a product barcode and get an instant verdict - Buy, Goodbye, or Unknown - measured against the rules you set yourself.

No politics baked in. No opinions from us. You decide what matters; the app does the research in the seconds you have while standing in the aisle.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Scan a barcode (or type it in manually).
2. We look up the product, its brand, the parent company, and country of origin from open data sources.
3. Your rules are checked instantly and you get a verdict with the reasons behind it.

SET YOUR OWN RULES
• Countries - avoid products made in, or by companies headquartered in, countries you choose.
• Companies - boycott specific companies and their brands, including your own custom company names.
• Ethics - flag products linked to child labour, or require cruelty-free for beauty and cosmetics.
• Ingredients - flag palm oil or animal-derived ingredients for conscious and vegan shopping.

CLEAR, HONEST VERDICTS
• Buy - nothing you flagged was found.
• Goodbye - one or more of your rules was triggered, shown with the exact reasons.
• Unknown - we couldn't find enough data. We never invent a verdict.

NO BARCODE? NO PROBLEM
Search by company or brand name to check where a product stands before you ever pick it up.

PRIVACY FIRST
No account. No sign-up. No tracking by us. Your rules stay on your device. The only data collected is by our advertising provider to show ads - see our privacy policy for details.

Your values. Your rules. Your call.
