Es gibt keine Felder für Infos wie zum Beispiel die Kurbel oder den Vorbau. Das sind doch total relevante Felder? Ebenfalls kann man mit dem Käufer nicht telefonieren oder eine Probefahrt ausmachen wie soll ich denn entscheiden, ob das Rad mir passt und bequem ist wenn ich keine Möglichkeit habe es zu fahren ich werde es sicher nicht kaufen ohne das Fahrrad jemals gesehen oder gefahren zu haben. Es ist aber nicht möglich eine E-Mail-Adresse oder eine Telefonnummer versenden. It also doesn’t auto-punctuate so you are constantly having to capitalize and go back to edit. Just a bad experience and creates too much work. ### 4/5 — Große Reichweite, ausbaufähig in Durchführung *2026-04-20* Ich bewerte hier als Verkäufer. Mit der Plattform erhöht man seine Reichweite enorm im Vergleich zu bspw eBay Kleinanzeigen. Die App ist übersichtlich und gut gebaut. Die Abwicklung des Verkaufs läuft ebenfalls gut ab, man bekommt das Verpackungsmaterial geschickt und kann dank Anleitung alles gut verpacken. Minuspunkte gibt es für den Support, der leider telefonisch nicht existiert und man damit nicht schnell agieren kann. Bei mir kam der Spediteur einfach gar nicht am vereinbarten Tag. Nicht unbedingt Buycycle‘s Fehler, aber es wirkt unprofessionell. ### 3/5 — Eigentlich geil, aber… *2026-03-28* Die Idee der App ist super. Leider im Handling aber buggy. Wenn Interessenten fragen wo das Bike steht und man den Stadtteil reinschreibt, bekommt man regelmäßig Timeouts ohne Grund und kann nicht antworten. Wenn ein Käufer bei Abholung den Kauf ablehnt, wie in meinem Fall, da der Rahmen zu gross war, muss man den Support kontaktieren oder das Inserat neu erstellen? Warum? Ich will das einfach sofort wieder reinstellen. Daher nur 3 Punkte. Idee gut, handling eher nicht so. Ich habe nich nichts über buycycle gekauft, deshalb kann ich nichts über den Vorgang an sich sagen. Dass ich nichts gekauft habe und die App auch nicht mehr nutze, liegt daran, dass die Verkäufer hier meist sehr unrealistische Preise sehr nah an der UVP verlangen. ### 3/5 — Aktualisierung *2026-02-26* Muss bei fast jedem Start aktualisiert werden… sehr nervig. Allerdings weißt die App auch manchmal Fehler auf, allerdings keine dramatischen. However you do end up selling your bike. There are not notifications for messages which is stupid because if you sell your bike buycycle gets money…..For some reason buycycle no longer lets me access my photo library to upload photos. It’s not even a section under the apps permissions. It’s a bad experience……butttttt you can sell your bike. It’s horrible for flipping bikes. Can’t submit a for sale post. Can’t submit feedback about the errors due to errors. Buttons don’t work, screen locks… ### 1/5 — App is ok / don’t try a logon via comp *2026-06-24, version 4.2.17* App is ok / don’t try a logon via comp. It’s just broken. Try and verify my cell and just keep getting error “the field has already been taken.” Been trying for 2 days. Tried reaching out to support waste of time when I submitted the ticket it generated an error and went nowhere. I just purchased wheels for my bike, we’ll see if it works. Hopefully I won’t have to contact support because I have not had any luck. Hopefully I’m wrong but so far no joy! ### 1/5 — Used to be better *2026-03-09, version 4.2.1* Here’s overall thoughts of buying and selling for the past couple years with them. Should be able to show just bikes from your country as it used to be an option in settings. Shipping and import of an oversees bike could cost $600-800 alone now, about a year ago it only cost me half that. Pretty overpriced. Selling a bike used to be better with a lower seller fee of about 4% and they would provide free packaging. Now it has doubled to about 8% and they charge $50 for using their packaging. So increased cost but no added benefits. Not to mention if you’re the buyer the “buyer protection” costs has dramatically risen and lots of shady listings be sure to do due diligence messaging the seller. Used to not charge sales tax on parts. Now they do, not sure why that changed. Overall its alright, beats ebay but better to sell locally ### 1/5 — SCAM, Euro to Dollar not accurate. *2026-03-05, version 4.2.1* If you are in North America, it is ridiculous. All the good bikes are overseas mostly. If you want to buy a frame or bike just add $500 to it. $299 to ship plus duties, and insurance. Anything under $1000 overseas ain’t worth it. So the reverse is also true, a lot of users are in Europe and they won’t buy your bike in the states since they have such good deals on the bike already in Europe. Use FB marketplace, eBay, anything else. Also they are taking money off the top on their conversions from euros to dollars. ### 1/5 — Zéro au niveau du transport *2026-03-03* Passez votre chemin, autant traiter en direct avec les vendeurs. J’ai acheté il y a 3 semaines et le colis n’a toujours pas été récupéré par UPS. Aucun suivi de Buycycle, le service client est injoignable et renvoie vers une IA à côté de la plaque. BUT it is filled to the brink with bots, and scammers to the point it is impossible to actually tell who the real people are that are interested in buying your bike. Do not use unless you want to spend hours filtering through unwanted messages from scammers. ### 1/5 — Horrible Experience *2025-07-01, version 3.4.3* Everything I did to sell a bike for $103 USD was horribly executed by this app, had to contact customer support several times to keep the process flowing and to complain about how several of the steps involved were extremely inconvenient for me as a seller and how the some of the information they provided was completely wrong. I’ve never had a worse experience selling something on any platform. I often had to go between the iPhone app and web app because the two did not always match up and links I received in emails brought me to the web app instead of the iPhone app even though I was on my phone. It’s been a week since the bike was sold and I received a payment that was significantly less than what was supposed to be paid because they had told me the buyer would pay for any packaging of the bike. I was told my ticket was escalated but still haven’t heard from anyone after several days.
