### 4/5 — Amazing… but still early

*2026-08-07*

Using this as a centralized hub for all things Hermes, Openclaw, and Codex. The desktop app is so good, but there’s definitely plenty of bugs for now in this mobile app. Hoping they clear up as the updates keep coming!

### 4/5 — Mobile is not working

*2026-08-01*

Great on the desktop but my mobile connects and messages are rarely responded to. Have to refresh or ask codex to force a response. Hopefully this gets fixed. Great app overall.

### 4/5 — Amazing - one issue for now

*2026-07-30*

Amazing tool with one bug. For some reason I have to close and re-open the app to see agent replies in the chat. It shows them typing but then their response doesn’t appear until I re-open. Sometimes that doesn’t fix it and I have to view it on my Macbook.

### 5/5 — I Been buzzing a lot

*2026-07-26*

👀❤️👆🆙 been waiting for something like this to come out

### 5/5 — a fundamental upgrade

*2026-07-25*

leaving all of the technical and architectural elements (nostr, buzz-acp, etc.) aside, this is a game changer for work and building things. it compresses your stack into one seamless and beautiful surface. kudos block team: thanks for making it open source and sharing this with the world.

### 5/5 — Amazing how easy this is to use

*2026-07-24*

I come from a long line of agentic harnesses, and Buzz is easily the most approachable as far as onboarding, setup and usage goes - it ain’t even close. You can sync across devices, including mobile, and invite teammates and contributors. I haven’t felt anything like this since using OpenClaw for the first time in January. This is a shift.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Notifications don’t work

*2026-08-24*

Kind of defeats the purpose.

### 1/5 — love buzz but iOS app is so broken

*2026-08-18*

I love buzz on desktop client and we are migrating our team to our self hosted buzz community for collaborative coding and knowledge work in a broader way.

However, the iOS app is broken.

scrolling does not work in sidebar as long as momentum of previous scrolling is still there.

notifications seem to get lost.

scrolling inside threads is also quite unresponsive.

and the issue that makes the app unusable: when scrolling to the bottom of a thread something gets hung up. The scrolling get stuck in an endless loop of jumping up and down 2 times per second. my temporary solution is to never scroll completely to the end of a thread to avoid getting stuck in this scrolling-jump-loop.

Looking forward to see the iOS app being usable at a minimum level so I can rate it 5 stars again. thank you for buzz

### 2/5 — Getting there

*2026-08-27*

I see the vision and wish to embrace it. Please keep working on this.
I like the native integration with local agents.
Please add GrokBot to your list.
Installation and management needs to be simplified. It does not work out of the box.

### 2/5 — Promising, but buggy

*2026-08-07*

desktop works great. mobile needs work. messages not showing up unless you force quit or not at all along with nested thread replies not functioning properly is a deal breaker. i want to switch to buzz but just can't yet.

### 2/5 — Too glitchy

*2026-08-01*

Love the concept but app is so buggy. You click on threads which shows a load of messages but none are there. Cant read my threads!

### 3/5 — Good but buggy

*2026-08-08*

I have to force quit the app to see responses show up

### 3/5 — Still needs work

*2026-08-08*

I’ve been using the desktop application and have been extremely impressed with what the team has created, it is truly remarkable, but unfortunately this application lets the ecosystem down initially on early use.

It’s Clean and has a fantastic UI and looks like it’s the perfect mobile communication between user and agents. Unfortunately in reality and real life use I’m extremely frustrated with the mobile app.

I don’t get replies from my agents although the replies do come through on desktop app.

The messages sometimes do eventually come through but after around 5 to 10 minutes and I think that is just the mobile application refreshing with the relay, it doesn’t seem to be a true live messaging system.

You’re limited to what settings and adjustments you can make within the app.

There is currently to date no push notifications.

I think once the bugs are ironed out and some additional features can be added I adjust my review, but with this current build I’m only confident giving the mobile app three stars, but I would quite happily give the desktop application five.

I do appreciate this is a very early release so hopefully the team can take the feedback constructively and I look forward to seeing it develop and grow.

### 3/5 — Almost good

*2026-08-07*

I would really love to use this full my full “hive” of agents, but as self hosting is very important for me there is a big blocker to fully adopting this. Mobile notifications just do not work for self hosted relays. Despite a self-hostable 'push gateway' existing, it's tied to the app's own Apple/Google identity, so for the stock mobile app on a private relay you get no lock-screen notifications at all. Ntfy/UnifiedPush-style decoupled push (which other Nostr apps use) would make this a non-issue. Fix that and Buzz would be a perfect new layer to my personal AI stack.

### 3/5 — Mobile responses are not shown

*2026-08-03*

Desktop app is great, but responses are not shown and the agent status are also not shown. Needs to be fixed to make sure parity exists between desktop and mobile app

### 4/5 — Awesome early version with some bugs

*2026-08-17*

This changes everything when it comes to working with agents. I'm not getting push notifications or proactive messages through here. This may be due to my own configuration issues, but I think it is a bug

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — My new HQ for hermes and open claw and claude

*2026-08-24*

I don’t think I could live without this now.

Needs some work, but great potential

### 5/5 — Excellent work

*2026-08-07*

Set this all up with the team tonight and as a bonus we got the mobile app too. This is an early days game changer. Thanks to the team for making this available. Really looking forward to seeing what’s next and digging deeper into the functionality. It will change how we work.

### 5/5 — Sensational

*2026-08-05*

### 5/5 — Great app for collaboration!

*2026-07-31*

Have been using this a few weeks and getting our team to use it. It’s great!

### 5/5 — Game changing

*2026-07-31*

easy to pair and start controlling agents while on the go! game changer

### 5/5 — buggy but transformative

*2026-07-28*

i don’t even care that this works about 50% of the time, i’m migrating my agents to it and making it work, absolutely elegant orchestration layer

### 5/5 — This is it.

*2026-07-28*

This is the way, job well done from the team. only ask is if we can get the notifications sorted lol. always have to restart app to see replies.

### 5/5 — This is the way

*2026-07-26*

This is the future of agent+human team collaboration. Love it.
